Interesting. I really like it. Doesn't make me feel like I'm wasting my time if I just want to walk somewhere instead of clicking a couple of buttons to get there. Also, here's a ton of additional info, and it sounds awesome. Especially the various changes to the combat system seem really good. http://theelderscrollsskyrim.com/unofficial-skyrim-information-part-1/

I'm not opposed to manually walking places it's just sometimes I get so sick of the same scenery if I happen to be traveling back and forth from the same places.

Is there something besides graphics? (I am aware of the graphics discrepancies) I prefer to have all my rpgs on 360 for non gameplay reasons. Primarily being that much of the time I am away from home/computer/internet and I appreciate a library of 360 games to play at these times. What are you missing out on gameplay wise? I thought of... 1) graphics 2) Hotkeys are a bitch 3) No mods? Never used any, why does this matter Anything else? P.S. I have a kickass computer that can definitely play this on highest level. How large is the graphics discrepancy between highend pc and 360? Those are the things, but Mods are HUGE in this game once you realize what you can do with them. There are mods for literally everything about the TES games. Mods will give upgraded graphics, sounds, combat systems, hundreds of new enemies/creatures, new lvling systems, new spells, new quests, new areas, overhauls of everything you could imagine, and even major overhauls of the game that nearly turn it in to a whole new experience. Expanded character creation, huge amounts of new gear. Upgraded companion systems to be more like BG2. Better UI's. They seriously make the TES games far, far more than they are in vanilla, and make the PC versions superb by far. You seriously get upgrades to EVERYTHING. Here are some examples of mods from Oblivion to give you an idea of what I mean: Marts Monster Mod: Adds over 150+ brand new creature types with 1900+ creature variants, advanced stats for all creature/npc types, advanced AI/Wilderness behavior for creatures, inter-faction behavior for NPC's, advanced combat behvavior, new loot for all creatures and NPC's, new crafting system, challenging creatures all the way up to level 50, and creatures that may be higher or lower level than you regardless of your level. Wounding system. Looting enemies and creatures. Zombie/Goblin/Undead overhauls, and many optional plugins for further customizing your experience. Deadly Reflex: Greatly enhances Oblivions combat. Adds momentum/unpredictability. Power Attack Perks were revamped and given special animations. Kicking and headbutts. Horse combat. Throw weapons at enemies. Combat with torches. "Guts" affected by physics. New blood emitters. Better hit detection. Shield bashing. Dodges/Flips. Decapitation. Impaling. Smashing. Throat slitting. Midas Magic: Adds over 100 new unique spell types and a brand new way to learn these spells. You can look at this guys uploads to see many examples of the awesome new spells - http://www.youtube.com/user/xilverbulet#p/u/0/2R4OoLmCTSA Natural Environments: Improves the weather, water, habitats, and vegetation to include seasons, climate changes, weather, rainsbows, birds/insects, new weather fixes, etc... all to hugely improve the visual quality. Check the screenshots here: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=376 Those are just a couple of the literally hundreds-thousands of mods out there. No matter what your play style is I guarantee there's something for you. Check here for more examples: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.HOF And once you tried all the mods your interested in and getting bored, you should definitely look in to trying the major overhauls. They drastically change the gameplay and can almost turn it in to a different game, and usually make the game much harder (some of them close to Dark Souls difficulty).

I cleared out vilverin (minus spectral level) really quickly...Will it get harder or should i raise the difficulty? anybody know if the mod is just imba? OOO is balanced around the fact that you start with nothing, and you can't take on most dungeons early cause of your inferior stats/items, if for some reason you start with a nice bow, than it changes the balance of the dungeons/areas. It could be that you have just been getting really lucky with your exploring, but it's possible that this particular mod breaks the game. The whole idea behind OOO is that the game doesn't scale to you, there are just naturally scary crazy monsters out there that can kill you until you survive for long enough and train hard enough to get the equipment/skills to take that stuff on. It doesn't make much sense that a level 1 hero can take on the arena and become champion but its easily possible in Vanilla Oblivion(you can finish the game at level 1). But here's the thing, if you enjoy it, it doesn't really matter if it breaks it, the great part about TES is you can mod it to completely break the game like crazy, and if your having fun with it, who cares if its broken, since its a single player experience.
