I'll admit it, I was totally planning on being a stealth mage.

you never used steam did you? Because if you did you wouldnt ask this question. The games are bound to your account end of story
No of course I didn't. It doesn't bother me that much that games are bound to an account. It bothers if they are region locked. Wikipedia says that they put locks in place to prevent people from buying games in thailand for cheap and using them in the us. Is it like this for every game? How many regions are there?

I'm buying a physical copy at 10-11-11 at my local gameshop. (Un)Fortunately, I got my last midterm 11-11 from 9-12. So I'll install it on 10-11 so I can instantly play it 11-11 when I get home:p You CAN install it pre-launch yes? Just not authorize+play?
No, the preload only works because its encrypted, pre-install requires release. I was in that situation with RAGE.
Absolutely amazing. I am so glad i got the Collector's Edition. I cant wait to watch all the making of the game documentaries. 5 Days. Only an OCHEM midterm and some Electrical Engineering HW stand in my way!!!!

Read the posts you reply to.
Yes, you can use it anywhere, it's bound to your account.

I've always been about the pure mage all the way, Altmer (+ apprentice birthsign lolololol) ftw.
Well, after I got out of the "Always pick basic warrior class w/ sword no matter the game screw learning how this magic shit works" phase that I am sure everyone has gone through ;P
Though in Oblivion it's pretty easy to raise your sneak skill (And invisibility is OP) and I can pick any lock EZPZ so I guess you could consider my char a stealth mage....

When you activate you can use it wherever you want. But some games if you buy russian cd-key or something like that you may need proxy to that country to activate game, but after you do it doesn't matter

You save the world from becoming an evil god of destruction's playground of torture and you can eat mudcrabs, how is that not epic? Depending on what else you do you can save the world several other times as well.

It was a less interesting rehash of the previous game's plot.
Can't really disagree as I have never even been able to deliver that damned letter in Morrowind; that dark elf highwayman would always pwn my ass and those overlords silt striders really freaked me out.
Still, I thought the whole Mankar Camoran's Paradise deal was pretty sick.

a) Get rid of your internet connection/ block any sites that have anything to do with skyrim (including tl + youtube), buy the game later. Probably the better option as you will start playing on a later patch with at least several thousand less bugs (lol)
I've ordered Skyrim on Steam, and I've ordered a GTX 580! :D I'm going to play a Nord warrior for my first play through! Can't wait :D I'm going to be one of them guys who really takes their time to savour the game and taking it a slow, thorough pace. I'm not gonna leave the house at all the weekend of its release.
