Yeah the Thalmor suck, I really hope we get an expansion that focuses on destroying them.
Is anyone else really dissapointed you can't marry a Jarl?
I was so excited that after I crushed the rebellion I was going to be able to marry Elsif or something. Imagine it, Lhar'Nahlk, Argonian High King of Skyrim! :D
+ Show Spoiler +guess I'll just have to settle being leader of the companions/mage's college/blades/dark brotherhood/ and thieves guild

thinking of starting new char, currently i play for - 2 handed + heavy armor + a bit archer + lockpicking and smithing but somehow i feel this char is weak when it cames to fights where i fight other two handed enemys, i feel like starting some kind of - 1 handed + heavy armor + block + smith + something, any of you guys had this dilema? also any tims on my thoughts? tips for 1 handed char? really thanks

I want a DLC that gives you actual political power for doing all this world changing shit. I mean by the end of the major quest chains youv saved the world three times over and random guards still call you citizen.

Screw that, wait for Cryodiil or whatever the next Elder Scrolls is gonna be. Whatever it is you can probably place a good bet that it'll heavily involve the Thalmor's conquest.

Try getting powerbash or later disarming bash to stagger/interrupt enemies and to block 2 handed attacks better (the -20% dmg taken from 1 point makes a world of difference). Works with a 2hander and opens up an enemy for a power attack without trading blows.

XD dude, to go see the companion, you just need to fast travel to dragonreach and then jump over the river to your left and you arrive directly in the companion house :O Yeppers, still have to walk right by the Talos statue with the crazy dude, that's all I was saying. (don't wanna kill him though, only because he's still a nice guy, just loud as hell)

well, if u use your sprint shout from the top of stairs of dragonreach you kinda end up....nevermind best dont use fast travel at all

Cyrodiil? They already made that game, and it sucked.

Hammerfell, Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim have been visited. If anything expect either black marsh or summerset isle next in my opinion.

Well that is true, I wouldn't mind revisting a few special places in the other areas, especially to see how they are now. (200+ years later)

I wanna go to Elswyr, kitties running all over the place. I'd have like the most pimped out little bed and litter box ever!
|
No no no... Black Marsh all the way. Give me something dark.
|
No! TT I want another lighthearted adventure. Elswyr would also be like a thief haven, gime a beach added onto it and it would be my TES heaven. :O

With the Argonian's conquest of Morrowind Black Marsh may also be pretty interesting. I hate the high elves though so I'd rather battle them.

Being pretty new to TES games I still don't know the "whole story" of why the high elves are so bad or how they got that way. Can someone link me to a legit site with all the history of everything or at least clue me in on why the Thalmor are such d-bags? Btw they have some great loot if you randomly murder them while there moving around the countryside, once I get my bribe perk on this character its gonna be on!

That might be more than you asked for, but Tamriel's history makes for an interesting read. The first of these is links is better laid out I think for reading as they have a nice timeline for each era.
