I'm excited to visit the orc stronghold now that my buddy told me about where it is.. I was starting to think there wasn't one after all and when I found out there was one I exclaimed for joy as my new character is an alcoholic orc (he drinks any free alchohol around instantly). Who says the dragonborn can't have a drink or two?? He really is that guy in Whiteruns favorite drinkin buddy lol

As to AC1 what is the graphics difference between it and 2? Minimal. The difference is primarily stylistic, and frankly I prefer the original's a bit more.

Thanks for the info, looks like I got to track down a copy. Hard as hell to find older games locally for me and I have a PO box so Amazon won't ship to it. TT As to skyrim. The difference between how fast you can level when actually trying to vs the time to level when just playing the game is astonishing. Like a difference of 5 hours as opposed to 30 lol. This is all legit too. (albeit lame)

The auto and quicksave will probably save over your old character, but you can just make a manual save with your old character before starting the new one to keep it.

As to AC1 what is the graphics difference between it and 2? i must be getting old... I thought you were seriously asking about Asheron's Call 1 or 2 :p On topic: If you buy Assassins Creed Relevations you get AC1 "for free" (for the PS3). Not sure if you can get a big discount on a box of the whole series, but if you can, i'd highly recommend playing them in order. The stories are good and they line up beautifully.

If you do not mind the outdated graphics, you shall have the most amazing single player experience in your life. To date, I do not believe any RPG has surpassed what Baldur's Gate 2 achieved. I am sure many players here would agree with me. eh people tend to cite planescape torment in that slot, although of course many more people have played bg2 since it wasn't a buggy mess on release like torment... And since it still has an owner selling it. Only way i know of to get torment at a reasonable price is good old games for 9.99, i had to pay 40 bucks for a legit copy because i'd heard so much about how good it was but nobody had it at the time. Turned out to be totally worth it lol

Also I have played a ton of Skyrim and am gonna be pretty much done shortly. (~140 hours over three characters and all achieves despite taking two weeks off around thanksgiving where I was out of town and a lot less since then) and I had a bunch of other console games lined up to play afterward and I am now afraid they are all going to be a huge letdown. lol. The fact that you can get infinite loop on enchanting strength means that you can make an iron dagger with a million damage together with a ring that gives a million health. After that nothing really matters, since you are invulnerable and oneshots everything.

If any one wants to explain rage please post/pm! I have played RAGE and it doesn't have the same RPG feel that Skyrim has by any means. You have very little control over your character or your quest path (There are some side-missions, but I beat the game and got all the side missions in 10 hours on Brutal). I feel that the main advantage of RAGE is its gameplay mechanics (Wingsticks ftw). Speaking of Skrim, I just got it today and I have noticed that there is some sort of glitch involving the hotkeying of favorites (my sword or bow become randomly de-hotkeyed). Is there any way around this? Sorry if this has been asked and answered before.

Currently level 20 Wood elf chick, 60 one hand weapons (duel wield) and 45 archery. open console using ` key type : save "X" <-- (with parentheses if you plan on using spaces) You now have a save file named X. For example save "THIS IS MY SAVE GAME" gives me a save file called THIS IS MY SAVE GAME. Now when you start a new game, just create a new save and use that one (just make sure not to overwrite your old save file, thought that is harder now since it's called something unique rather just "Skyrim")

If you keep two hunting bow in your inventory, it will de-hotkey. Turned out to be totally worth it lol Planescape Torment had a superior story. But its appeal is honestly for individuals hardcore enough to truly absorb into the story. Baldur's Gate 2 has a likewise strong background story that is easier to understand with more mainstream appeal (you are told that you are an offspring of the God of Murder from the onset), backed up a much superior combat system and gameplay content. Torment is the greatest of all in the "role-playing" part of RPG. The game spent an insane amount of detailed attention to the tale of your character and the world around him. It is one of the very few games in existence that truly support and even encourage you to role play as an evil character. But as far as the "game" part is concerned, Baldur's Gate 2 was far superior.

Currently level 20 Wood elf chick, 60 one hand weapons (duel wield) and 45 archery. Find your save file in the My Games folder and move it out of the folder. If you plan to reroll a lot, also keep the save of the level 1 nord named 'Prisoner' that they make for you right before you can create your character. This saves you having to sit through the cart ride every time.

Light or Heavy armor? Take a heavy punch, or be agile and dodge around like crazy? P.S. - no stealth, that's for bitches. And if I go Light, which side should I go up on Smithing? Because if I dont' build up heavy armors I don't get Daedric/Ebony weapons, which seems like a huge downside.
