Dude I haven't yet tested it but if this is real...... It's a mod obv, you guys can google it.
If you're copying from your source, why do you tell us to "just google it" instead of pressing two fucking buttons to link it to us so we don't have to play hide & seek with your "sources"?

Hmm ok i seem to have this problem which i cannot find the reason / solution for, looked pretty much everywhere...
If i enchant something, it doesn't matter if i use a petty gem or a grand gem or whatever, the enchantment's strenght remains the same.... anyone has a clue what this is? a bug perhaps? or am i not seeing something superobvious? thx in advance!

you can fill bigger gems with small souls. For example you could have a grand gem filled with a petty soul which is as weak as a petty gem with a petty soul. Only the soul in the gem matters.

Were you enchanting weapons or armour? If it was a weapon, the size of the soul just affects how many charges the enchantment has.

ah it was a weapon... thx

My source is private. There is no way you have access to it. Why so aggressive btw, T_T.

Because people don't like unfounded rumors and unverified information. You might as well just not post.

When is Bethesda going to go back to AWESOME strongholds like those in Morrowind? I want my own fucking town or mage tower. Why not give us one of the 50 keeps/towers in the game?
+ Show Spoiler + You can always get the stronghold from the dark brotherhood as you go. You get the whole place to stash up stuff, it offers alchemy lab, an alchemy vendor, a few possible companions and other stuff. You also get a weapon rack, an armor mannequin and a bookshelf along a few more things. I personally stashed up some statues of dibella around the place for looks...
I must say Whiterun really is the most convenient though. It has all the facilities and even + Show Spoiler +after doing a few thievesguild quests you get a fence right outside the town .

Is there any way I can force lydia to use a sword and not a bow ? It really annoys me... I'm an archer and I'm using her only because she is melee but most of the times she uses the bow -.-"

@ the guy above me: doesn't work at all? O_o they have a bow even if you don't give them one... just like my mage MOSTLY uses magic but sometimes uses a bow and very rarely his sword T_T annoying

I don't really recall the Telvanni house in Morrowind but the Hlaalu and Redoran houses were weak. Talking about the stock experience here, obviously there were some amazing stuff to be gotten from mods in Morrowind.

Telvanni was your own mages tower with centurion guards. Can't beat that shit.

They will always have a bow even if there isn't one in their inventory. Just make sure you give her good weapons and it decreases how often she will use the bow significantly.
I've found the best bet is to give your companions powerful staffs since they never run out of energy. I gave one a staff of fireballs AND the Hags Staff from the Darklight Tower quest (which does 50dmg) and she dual-wields the damn things. It's like a wrecking machine.

Note that if you drop a soul gem on the ground which as a soul smaller than its max size, then it'll empty the gem when you pick it up. Good way of not wasting those grand gems on petty souls if you ended up soul trapping a skeever into it or something.
