With vanilla Skyrim, I couldn't even catch the first word. Now, with lots of texture mods and other shit, along with changing the ugridstoload value to 9, up from 5, I can read it now.

Any performance hit or stability issues since doing that? That tweak looked great, but I heard it could have issues with your savegames, so I avoided it so far....

Heavy armor is only better if you prefer the perk benefits (they're nearly identical in their 'ehh'-ness imo)

Before actually trying it out... ! Holy fuckballs this game has everything to make you escape from the reality. The sounds, visuals, story line, landscape, all absolutely fantastic. The only thing giving me a headache is the sheer number of the things you can do, read, ask and investigate. Only 9 hours so far, but damn — Now I'm sure where I'll spend this weekend on.

Sure, you take damage, but if you have like apprentice restoration spells like Fast Healing it's easy to heal yourself in mid combat if you just back up for a second. Also, the dps of dual wield is so ridiculous that it's not really a problem in the first place, since everything is simply going to die anyway before you take to much damage. Honestly don't see the issue here. I had played with 1h + shield up to lvl 30 on adept. Then I tried dual wield, and it was so insanely much easier that I had to increase to expert straight away, and master not soon after as well. So what if you can't block, if everything else is super-imba strong so that it never becomes an issue in the first place? -.-

And Skyrim is just that. All the quests resemble Diablo quests, leveling is just as exciting as in Diablo and the best thing the game got a complicated and interesting loot system like Diablo. Just like in Diablo you can either buy, find or craft stuff (not in the same ratio as Diablo was more dependant on finding and Skyrim on crafting). The game is simple to get into and just play a bit. It doesn't ask you to read a lot or learn anything about the world. You are just asked to bash monsters, level fast as result, and go through a lot of loot. It is a casual RPG player dream :D It is just like I wanted next Diablo to be and what Hellgate London failed to give us.

In dungeons between Lydia, summons and tight corridors (and kiting by just moving backwards so I can still cast spells) Melee enemies hit me fairly often. On open areas (outside) some enemies like Bears are really fast and tend to hit me on occasion. I dont know how u can get hit if you are 1vs1 agaisnt any kind of enemy as a prue mage. Double fireball is really quick to cast and 1 out of 2 shoot, it stun them.. Even work on bear or dragon. My companion is mostly only a item carrier and if I have 3-4 enemy, i summon someone (dont remember his name, the crazy black knight). and im just lvl 24 (75 in destruction)

the potion effect should be spread over a longer period of time, like 15-20s for the full potion to take effect. you shouldn't be able to pause the game by pulling up your quick menu and spam potion after potion and get your full health back in 2s. Thx in advance! is it because you told him to wait? if so he'll eventually go back to the spot where you hired him because followers get "tired of waiting" for you. lol if he's dead though, that's a different issue. you'd have to find his body.

Dungeon bosses hit hard. Outside a bear can come to you before you notice them. Wolves do this to me all the time in forests but they don't hit hard. It is much easier to notice these opponents on open fields or icy areas.

What about magic absorb? Speaking of which, I have 80% magic absorb and it works great against mages and the Voice, but when fighting a dragon I see the visual effect showing that I'm absorbing the magic, yet I take full damage. Considering that dragon breath is also the voice, I suspect that this is another bug.
