between me and my brother I would say about 3 crashes and many more bugs, once my bro killed someone and he just phased through the floor, another for him, he was in battle then got hit by an ice bolt and it stayed on his hip for about 2 days (real 'our' time) worth of playing
I prefer the clothes to better work for me (enchantment, light armor etc..) then for personal "looking cool" type of things but its hard as an argonian, most of the hoods go 'through' my long face even though their hoods, I can't wear any brotherhood masks...

Oddly enough when I bought the game it would frequently crash inside dungeons on ultra settings. I played on High for a few days then switched back to ultra. The problem fixed itself and the game (rarely) crashed!
I attribute this to magic.
You have a fair point I responded too harshly. I assumed he meant one thing and it's clear looking back he wasn't intending it the way I took it. I apologize for my sardonic response.

so i decided to go 2x swords should i invest into blocking? im not sure if it improves my block with 2 weapons nor which skills really work with it.
|
I thought you couldn't block while dual wielding?

By wearing a shield and not doing anything with it you basically just increase your armour. With a shield equipped if you right click you raise your shield and block incoming attacks. With a two handed weapon equipped if you right click you raise your weapon to "block" (i.e. parry) incoming attacks. With 2x one handed weapons equipped if you right click you just attack with your offhand weapon.
I'm pretty certain you cannot block any incoming damage at all while dual wielding.

must be some skill books you've read that raised your block stat

Perhaps you have a low chance to block attacks passively then without 'actively' blocking with right click? Regardless, I think spending points in the block tree is going to be pretty useless if you intend to dual wield all the way.

Yeah are you sure you're not just passively increasing it by reading skill books? They are out there that boost your blocking.

well that sucks then, you can block with 2h weapon but cant with 2 weapons? -.-

I've played three characters so far, magic, bow, and now one handed wiht shield. And so far i must say that magic was easy (kiting ftw), bow is just unfair for the pc (stealth system is broken?) but one handed with shield is pretty fun, the things you can do with the shield just gives a new dynamic (for example when you block a power attack the time slows down and you out move your opponent). Plus blocking 3 enemies and attacking on masters diffuculty is actually hard to pull off. I think i have recorded over 130 hours so far and I'm still enjoying every moment of the game, crash free so far <knock knock>
So if you are bored with kiting everything and not getting hit like ever, try picking up a shield and dont use range attacks!

Not sure how certain you are at this point, but you definitely cannot block while dual wielding. you can block with a shield and with any single weapon - never with 2.
if you plan on dual wielding, get either illusion or alteration to minimize the damage you take Heavy armor is also a must

T_T whenever i use the slow perk for blocking, it lasts for 10 fking minutes. And, it doesn't slow me down so I can kill everything without getting hit so it is imba. damn glitch!

I just started the games and it's so confusing that you have to left click to use your right hand. haha. I mean i could just change it but it is at least as confusing to use your secondary skill/weapon with left click.
I mean it makes sense that your primary weapon is in the right hand and that left click is also primary, as it is in every pc game, but given the perspective I often use the wrong hand.

I hope I'm not the only one that's starting to get frustrated w/ all these repetitive glitches. Really looking to Bethesda to do some patching.

they didnt patch ebony blade =(

lol oops
i've been dual wielding the whole game with only light armour and not a point invested in magika as well as the perks (not including enchanting)
i haven't encountered any problems yet (playing on expert difficulty) when i do need a tank i just summon the daedric dude

Game worked perfectly for me (30~ hours) WITH mods and modified ini.
Then the patch arrived, and Skyrim crashed every 3-5 minutes (fast travel was an autocrash), so it became pretty much unplayable. I reinstalled, removed all the mods, tried with a non-modified ini, changed video settings...nothing worked. Hoped the new patch would fix it, but it came out and the game kept crashing.
Two days ago, I tried downloading the old exe (which lets you play without having to load the game through steam) and voila, game works like a charm right now (WITH mods). So...not a huge deal (no achievements and no bug fixes), but I really hope they find a solution, because this is happening to a lot of people.

So if you are bored with kiting everything and not getting hit like ever, try picking up a shield and dont use range attacks! I get hit often while kiting. In dungeons between Lydia, summons and tight corridors (and kiting by just moving backwards so I can still cast spells) Melee enemies hit me fairly often.
On open areas (outside) some enemies like Bears are really fast and tend to hit me on occasion.
