If you can swap out your shield for a Ward spell from your restoration skills when you're against mages and use that as you would a normal shield (though be careful as it will drain mana) you'll find you can drastically reduce incoming magic damage. Also, enchanting gear, or purchasing item already enchanted so that you can maybe get some magic resistance might help too. Finally, quite early in the Alteration tree if you have any skill, it has a perk for 10/20/30% base resistance - even the 10% is quite substantial. And if all else fails, magic resistance potions.

WHY WON'T CAMMILA MARRY ME. I secretly killed her brother so that she would take over the store and I would get money when marrying her. I kept trying to talk to her but no dialogue box would come up except for "what do you have for sale" so I followed her around. I followed her into the inn and I saw that she was flirting with Sven. I told Sven to follow me and killed him in the woods. I GO TALK TO HER AGAIN AND SHE STILL WON'T MARRY ME.
I DID SO MUCH FOR HER.
Also, a funny story. When I killed the owner of the claw at night, I was with a companion. I told her to wait behind some trees so that she wouldn't see my dark passenger. I kill the guy and it says "bounty cleared since all witnesses died." So I'm feeling good and excited except the next day when I walk into Riverwood with my companion EVERYONE starts attacking her. I don't know if the AI thinks she killed Lucan or what but half of Riverwood is now dead from the rapetrain that she put on.

I get nerd chills just thinking about how awesome it would be to play as Richard running around with the sword of truth and following the books story. Or being Rand Al'Thor the Dragon Reborn...oh man something like that would be so amazing. I would love to see the devs do this themselves but I would settle for a third party mod but I can see how they could make a ton of money from selling DLCs that modify the game to follow popular fantasy book stories.
Btw 44 hours played currently and I really love the game and the story so far. I just can't stop thinking how much cooler it would be to play out some of my favorite book series stories as well.
The Sword of Truth was an awful series, awful.

Did anyone manage to pull a dragon while he's flying ? Don't know if I suck or what, but even with the 50% slow down archery with the zoom I just can't hit him... If someone got some tips, I'll be thankful :>

My average posting rate on TL has gone down by about 2000% the last week, solely due to being in Skyrim all the time instead of TL/GOM etc

You have got to be kidding ME!!!! + Show Spoiler +I wasn't expecting the main quests to be over once you defeated Alduin it was a joke and it didn't take long to do those quests. I know there is still 100+ hours of stuff to do but I thought the main story line would have been more grand and epic...I am really sad right now am I wrong? Is there more main story line quests? I guess I need to pick a faction now but to be honest I don't like either of them...

I don't think the dragons work like that. They seem to have a mind of their own, instead of a straight-forward aggro targeting system. I've had my flame atronach hit them before and they just flew on. It's crazy how much the atronach leads the shot to be able to hit them,
Your best bet is to catch dragons that are menacing populated areas. Usually you just need to hang around until they land and smash em up.

+ Show Spoiler +That's Elder Scrolls boi, can't rush the main storyline. At what difficulty did you play? In expert even with all the best gear you can smith in the game Alduin gave me kinda a hard time(even died once). It was kinda expected. I'm not fighting the civil war either, at least until at least something convinces me that one of the sides is not stupid. I'm happy just maxing my skills(smithing already maxed, enchanting to go!), and making Daedric/Dark Brotherhood quests.

DISCLAIMER: Obviously everything is in my opinion Improvements- It's got a much better immersion factor thanks to the new engine; animations are much less stiff, (fighting especially), and the conversations are a bit better.
- It's a lot prettier; the engine upgrade really helped out here. The way spellcasting works is also a lot better in my opinion, but it does make playing a 2h warrior a lot more annoying than in Oblivion; not necessarily a bad thing.
- The game 'feels' better; there are more people in the streets and the cities are lain out in a more interesting manner imo. Not every city has a wall around it, so you can see the differences between a fortress city and a city that's sort of 'evolved' from a town.
- Third person view has crosshairs now :D
- UI is more minimalist, despite being a lot more console-y; more below
- The quests are a lot less padded; while good, it also means that they're a lot shorter than they were in Oblivion, the main quest especially. (The length of the Oblivion one in having to close all the freaking Oblivion gates was ****ing annoying though)
- THE WATER IS SO PRETTY
Steps back- The UI. Oblivion's UI was far from perfect, but Skyrim's is worse in my opinion. You can see clearly that this was mostly a console port. The most annoying case of this is in dialogue/selling things and the level up system. If you miss the word of your character's name even slightly with the mouse it goes back to the previous dialogue screen. In the level up section, you have to hit 'enter' in order to select something to level up.
The tab menu is more annoying. Splitting up quests from the tab menu as well as your stats and placing the two of those into the esc menu is quite annoying to say the least, especially when you're used to Oblivion's controls. The LMB/RMB display is WRONG on the inventory/magic/favourites screen. When you click LMB it displays [R] and vice versa. This gets really confusing.
- Optimisation. While Oblivion was far from the most optimised game around, Skyrim feels a lot worse. I have a pretty beastly rig, but it still chokes up in some places; mostly interiors, oddly enough. I hope we can see a user mod to increase the optimisation on this
Things I wish they'd changed- Cities still don't feel big enough, and even though there are more people in the streets now, it still doesn't feel crowded enough.
- Dual wielding is wonky in my opinion. I wished it worked more like some of the mods out there but I don't really care either way; I don't dual wield and I didn't dual wield much in Oblivion on those characters.
Despite all this though, I've been having a blast playing it, and getting to walk around Skyrim, which is a stark contrast to the surroundings we got in Oblivion. Not having to deal with Oblivion Gates is great too Honestly, the true potential of Skyrim hasn't even been seen yet; I can't wait to see what the modding community throws out once they get their hands on the construction kit. (Apart from the nude mods -_-) TLDR: It's a solid game, feels a lot like a console port, but you should buy it.
I pretty much agree with all your points. The UI is a little silly but I've got used to it because the rest of the game is too good. Good work.

Beating on something for half an hour isn't fun. I'd much rather see a "impossible bosses mod" where you have to discover and use specific strategies to overcome a variety of bosses (and definitely don't limit it to dragons). To start it could be something obvious like a fire elemental who is weak to frost and you have to dodge the fireballs or take a boatload of damage. Somebody more creative than me can create the harder fights ^_^
