I've done several other missions already so going back to a previous save is out of the question. I try and toss the extra heads into the fire when revisiting the tomb, and nothing happens. Is this intended, bugged, it is there a questline that I'm not aware of? Edit: Do they not give you the prompt after you leave the tomb after doing the mission? I kept 4 heads in my chest in Breezehome. Well I got all the heads and just used the one I needed for kodlak, then left the tomb(at that moment I just wanted to keep werewolf for a little longer, then cure myself with the extra heads later). The way I understand it is that if you have the extra heads, you can go back to the flame, use it, and then fight your own wolf spirit, thus completing your cure. But the problem for me is that I don't get a prompt when I try to activate the flame; in other words, nothing happens. I don't know of its glitched, working as intended, or if I needed to do another quest separate from the companions. For me I had to cure more then just Kodlak. Have you cured Vikas yet? Was this part of the main quest line, or another quest after the kodlak mission? I only needed to cure kodlak.

Paralyse is a high level alteration spell. I've not got it. It's a pretty powerful effect so I'm assuming it would be very mana expensive. Using hit and run tactics will give the same outcome, but obviously a bit more time consuming.
The destruction rune spells have a nice synergy with sneaky melee characters, as they are (cheap) trap spells and you can damage your opponents while fleeing.
Also - paralyse comes in posion form (along with a lot of other neat effects to disable your opponent, like mana/stamina burn or weakness to X)

yes i like reengaging in combat and trying to always get the first hit more fun than spell casting

Oh my god this game just keeps on getting better and better
Stealth wood elf, mainly archery but dual one-handed too. You guys want to know the most epic combination ever? Max out enchantment, get two daggers, enchant them with paralyse/frost, and paralyse/shock, get the x15 sneak perk, and just.... kill everything? It's just ungodly how good this is
They take the massive amount of damage from the sneak attack, they have a good chance of being paralysed (due to the enchantment being on both daggers) and the stamina/magicka gets drained by the frost/shock. When I came up with this setup I thought it sounded good in my head but I actually had to have a shower after the first dungeon I cleared like this. I also have a bow for general use with fire damage and soul trapping petty/lesser creatures (great for when you're just running through the wilderness, kill a few wolves and bam your weapons are recharged). I have the perk which recharges the weapons with 5% of a victims soul, but unless you actually 1 hit everything, you do need to recharge eventually.
EDIT: Have people tried a battle-mage type character yet? (to high levels on expert/master?) I've been thinking of using something like a twohanded/heavy armor warrior using destruction and restoration spell books, but given the magic system (i.e, having to 'wield' the spell), how could this work with a two hander? Perhaps a 1 hander with shield, switching to spells when needed? That doesn't seem as cool =/

So, playing as a 2hand unarmed khajit with heavy armor & smithing is pretty awesome. Fists of Steel is such a baller perk, and hit things never felt so good.

Oh come on man I'm not at that part!
Just finished the college stuff, and its kinda weird, I have that mask that I won't describe how you get, but when I look at my character, there is an empty hood. Kinda funny. I think it's a graphic thing, but it sparks my imagination on a cool invisible mask thing.

"Followers do not die like normal NPCs. When they damage enough that would normally kill them, followers drop to one knee to begin recovery. During this recovery period enemies will ignore them completely. However, if they take damage while in this recovery phase due to a stray arrow or spell, they will permanently die."
Is this true? can anyone confirm it? because i cant see HP bar from my follower (Lydia)

Confirmed. I had Lydia stand on a continuous flame trap, and when she went to one knee, I went afk. When I came back after half an hour, she was dead, so I guess that it does work that way.

It is very very true. I've accidently killed Lydia multiple times while she was downed.

Hey quick question for my fellow sneaky characters,
I got the two final perks in the pickpocket tree (where you can pickpocket equipped items), expecting to be able to find some kick-ass gear. Unfortunately, so far, it seems that people only use steel swords and iron daggers, haven't found anything good at all. Has anyone found anything good with this perk? Or should I just reallocate the points?
I'm so hooked on this game >.< damn work

Is there any way to unsummon a follower without being with them? My follower is stuck in Misty Grove and I can't get her out because there is no way to leave Misty Grove once you go through it the first time.

Pickpocket enemy, take their weapons and armor, fuck their shit up, drop it afterwards.
Funniest shit ever.
+ Show Spoiler [Stormcloak spoilers] +Holy shit, I just took Whiterun. That was fucking intense.
Well, not really. It's so fun being able to actually fight things, I'm basically invincible now.

Interested in this, dunno if I should put points into this tree or not.
