Even if it's more Oblivion than Morrowind I'll still play the hell out of it, but I really hope they change things around a bit. Oblivion had way too much hand holding. ![]()

The Oblivion mod community is the largest I've ever seen. If Bethesda never made another ES, I'm sure the community would continue making mods for it for years to come. All else failing with Skyrim, I hope it's as mod friendly as it's predecessor.

Anyone else afraid of another consolised, level scaling, dubbed down action game with a few RPG elements? I miss Morrowind...

As much as you say this....try going back and playing it. The nostalgia wears off in an hour or so, and the 8.5 million minor gameplay annoyances really start to get to you. That being said, fark you Oblivion, with your auto-leveling crap, lame weapons/abilites, and many stupid design choices.

Oblivion was my favorite ES game and not my first (since people seem to hate it and think only people who never played morrowind or daggerfall like it)

And check out great mods like Tamriel Rebuilt for a lot of additional content. I've gone back to play Morrowind many times and it is amazing. I've played 1/10 of Oblivion and had to stop because it was so disappointing. Hopefully Skyrim will have the same amazing atmosphere and plot of Morrowind.

No level auto-scaling though, I hope... Actually I don't think my hope is justified. Well there's always mods.
