He used ~7 potions and had a companion, plus hes only level 8. Id assume the dragons get harder as you level up

Yeah im really not sure why so many people are enthralled with that lame dragon fight in Skyrim.

Because there is no cooldown on it and he had like 25 of them. Besides, how does that make it look better? It was a cakewalk to kill a dragon.

and the dragon used Ice magic which Nords have 50% resistance against. So he probably just survived because of his resistances.
after that dragonfight he gets onehittet by a giant.

So? set a few restrictions for yourself, such as no companions, no potions and no shouts. Or wait for mods.

Awesome... I am watching the first video now. I love the way this guy plays!
+ Show Spoiler + "Stormcloaks... maybe we can reason with them" "I'm a Nord, I don't reason for shit" *runs in swinging sword to break up dialogue that barely started*
lol

The guy was playing on Adept difficulty setting. What did you expect? Dragons need to be killable by even noobs in that mode for the story to progress.
You clearly see him get 1shot by a giant even on the adept mode.

I've seen the first episode of it. I don't wanna watch anymore b/c I already spoilered myself a bit by watching the first episode. I actually can't stand the way the guy plays. Prob cause of said running in w/o dialogue finishing.

I don't mind spoilers for TES, it isn't as focused on story like Witcher etc anyways (which is a good thing for replayability). I like how this guy takes consequences and rolls with it, unlike another stream I saw where the lamer kept reloading when things didn't come out perfect.

I'm all for rolling w/ the punches and such but I'll at least be listening to the dialogue on my first play through lol.

Not in every way... (see above) If you're referring to steam problems (two above), there's a quick free way to not have that problem. Considering the fact that Bethesda have pretty much admitted right off the bat that Skyrim's PC version will be a console port, I don't think the console version will be inferior. Chances are the PC version will be a lot more unstable, but then again, Bethesda's PC versions have always been full of bugs. I used to play a lot of (unmodded, can't stand mods) morrowind back in the day and every two hours it would crash to the desktop. On the other hand I've never had any trouble with Oblivion and Fallout 3 on xbox360.
That said, Morrowind is still the best game bethesda ever made, by far.

Ugh, I can't wait for friday..
I think one of the coolest things about TES is that the replayability is huge for me.. in my games (other than diablo) I can only play once, regardless how hard the developer tries to make it interesting. I don't care if I play the first time as a melee and I can replay as a mage, it's all the same..
But in TES you can really feel like a totally different game playing a big strong tank and then a stealthy assassin.. choosing different paths and brotherhood side quests etc., the game has such a different feel, it's very cool.
My first character will likely be a dual wielding axe or mace Nord, followed by a Orc heavy armor badass and then my stealthy assassin character. ^_^

You cant stand mods? on what grounds?
Oh, this tiny mod will fix my morrowind crashing to desktop every 2 hours, I FUCKING HATE IT! PIECE OF SHIT SCUM!!
-_- . No i am not overexxagerating, there is likely a mod to fix your issue out there. Oh, and a mod to do pretty much anything and everything you ever wanted out there -_-
Like those people sayin dragon fight looked easy / simple. You can bet your ass in a month there will be a mod to make the fucking thing kill you before you've seen it swoop down on your sorry sheathed sword.

Will there be a mod that will increase my carry weight to whatever i want? I didnt play Oblivion, only Morrowind a long time ago so i cant remember. When i play a game like this (Fallout3 for example), i really am a kleptomaniac and have to take everything i see and can pick up. I cant help it if i can have it for some reason i want it. So i increase my carry weight to a million and am very happy.
I usually offset that i would have tons of money and items with playing on the hardest difficulty (and mods that increase difficulty in different ways).
|
You don't need a mod to increase carry weight. Console commands will do that easily.

OMG this guy has me laughing so hard. :D
+ Show Spoiler +
Part 4 he kills a chicken after mulling it over for a minute, and the whole town comes after him. Funny as hell lol.
You guys have to watch part 4... this shit is hilarious!
"Killing that chicken is probably the worst thing you could do in this game. You could walk up to the King and shit in his lap... and that wouldn't be as bad as killing that chicken."
lol
