That's not so bad, I lost 20 iron, 10 gold, and a diamond pick last night and I lost even more spelunking in some caverns the day before (20+g, 64+I, 100+coal, diamond pick, and a saddle and some mossy cobble).
Though the first one made me mad since it was server lag.

Was trying to rollback the blocks a griefer manipulated, but he griefed so much that the rollback seems to have crashed the server.

I am currently public status and would like to become Team Liquid status. my problem is i built something and would like to take it with me when i move to a team liquid zone. Would an admin be willing to manipulate blocks to move it or will i have to start over?

first of all your account doesn't meet the requirements, and secondly, even as liquid user you can still roam and use public areas. Unless you're completely afraid of public griefers, you can just stay where you have started without any trouble.
