If you intentionally disrupt this server your actions will be reported to TL staff and action may be taken against your forum account. |

Even though I have only been on the server a few days, building together was really fun compared to working on my own. I hope to see more of it in the new server ^^.
Building together is so much more fun than building alone!
Really need to do that more

This will likely change soon but for the time being I have done some redirecting to make things a bit easier.
Server IP - liquidcraft.TEAMJAI.net
Server map - http://minecraft.TEAMJAI.net

so... I just went and did /tlregister got the code and then tried to input it/enter the code
"An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command"
>_<
|
Is your name white? If so, you're fine. That's an error due to Spout not working with 1.1 and our register plugin uses Spout for something non-vital.

Are there people online between 1pm and 3pm GMT?
|
Someone's been taking/killing/letting my chickens out, is there any way to figure out who?
|
So, uh, anyone have a project that needs a lot of ravines close to each other? Because I've found a series of eleven ravines all either directly intersecting or no more than 30 blocks through a cave from another one. And I'm not even done exploring.

Sure. Just spam me or Aeres the next time you're online.

For your viewing pleasure, the arena at Revoton (577, -136). We had a lot of fun building it together!
Please try to ignore the glass, it is not supposed to be there.

Today, I won't be, due to an important meeting (look at me, sounding all important and professional!), but I wake up fairly early, and since 5-7 AM my time is 1-3 PM in GMT, you can probably expect to see me up and about more often than not.
I can't speak for anyone else, unfortunately, but we do have quite a few TL'ers from Europe that could possibly be active around that time.

Turned most settings to low a long time ago, and completely forgot about it.
Everything looks a lot better now, thanks! <3

I was like WOW FUCK MY ENTIRE STUFF LOOKS LIKE SHIT WITHOUT SHADOWS. =D

yes, the main aesthetic limitation of giant pixellated blocks is the lack of shadows. :D

Intricate, tall towers of dirt and grass; piles of one of each type of block; and this...

Major updates coming.
For starters I am generating the new world right now. No guarantee it will be what I want until it's actually done and I check every single inch of it for problems, but the preliminary map of it looks perfect.
I've also added a fair amount of custom biomes for locations, including but not limited to volcano, glacier, wasteland, mushroom (not really new but I set this up to have a guaranteed spawn), oasis, canyon, and underground.
That being said it will likely be weeks before anything is ready, as there are major changes with 1.2 coming up. Some of these changes include all current logging plugins ceasing to function entirely due to a new event system in Bukkit until their devs rewrite the code, most other plugins requiring a fair amount of updating due to new API, and an entire new save system. More than likely it will take longer than usual for plugins to update after 1.2, however we need 1.2 to set up some parts of the new world (such as mountains). The likely scenario is that the current world will remain on 1.1 while the new world is developed on 1.2. Once the 1.2 world and the plugins it needs are stable enough we will just merge the two servers and update everything on the current world to 1.2 as well, then continue our work on the new world as needed.
In addition I am currently working on a website for the server (better than the crappy one I had before) to handle things that don't work too well in forums (maps, screenshot gallery, etc). This will also contain daily progress reports on the RPG world as well as any new content coming up for it, though nearly all of this information will also be posted here in this thread.
|
If possible I'd recommend running a temporary, plugin-free 1.2 world if the hardware can support running both at once. Once 1.2 is actually ready just nuke the temporary world.
