if you want to smelt like cobble stones, ores and whatnot: 1 coal = 9 blocks of (smooth cobble, iron bars, etc). Meaning that if you want to smelt an entire stack (64 pieces) of steel/gold/cobble, you'll need 7 coal (it will smelt with no extra burning coal or so). | ||

Instead of asking for a mod to fix it, I'll salvage the parts of the mechanism because the wheat farm I have under my brown/red sheep farm is much more efficient and simple. Plus, barely anyone, including me, uses it. I have a fun plan for those pistons :D | ||

It didn't really pay for itself  I'm hoping to make cool piston billboards with it! Some billlboards with pictures of zerg units maybe? It'll look like the swarm is actually moving, rather than just having static statues. There will definitely be one billboard that says "FOR THE SWARM". I was also thinking of building a cobblestone generator that uses 4 pistons, but I don't need a lot of cobblestone at all. | ||

Imo still the most fun and chill Minecraft tutorial out there. Dude made one for Alpha/Beta and just made an entire new series for 1.0. It doesn't have the most dense content, but it's cool as hell to watch. If you're not in the mood for that, just grab the wiki and dive right in. | ||
