They sell M14, Theros, DGM, Gatecrash and RTR. Any recommendations? (I guess I just want decent cards / chance at pulling awesome cards / stupid cluestones ripping me off commons :< / keep buying DGM solely b/c Voice)

But that's because I'm old and thought Thieving Magpies were the bomb.

I still play Thieving Magpies in cube. Sometimes they get to attack.

Maybe try fitting in Searing Blaze somewhere in there? Clearing an early blocker and going to the dome seems decent. Grim Lavamancer seems good too but at this point idk how hard you end up diluting the deck or if it'd be good.

Hmmmm Do remember that with Tron being a thing, a lot of people are running Ghost Quarters and Tec Edges. So it's not a permanent solution. That being said, I can see it working in aggro decks since not having a permanent solution is fine, and being able to unconditionally remove a DRS without needing to Path and ramp your opponent is good.

Yeah, I'm thinking like RW 2-drops, stuffed full of 1drop removal (path chain bolt etc)

Removal is more important than bombs in Theros sealed, since there are a lot of ways to make small creatures into big threats. In general, I would rate even a mediocre removal spell like Sip of Hemlock pretty highly, and stuff like Griptide/Voyage's End is premium enough to at least get splashed. Otherwise, it's just like any other sealed format. Try to play your best cards, try to stick to two colors if possible, and try to have a good curve. Also remember that PTQ strategy should always be as high-reward as possible, even if it means you have to take risks with the consistency of your deck. Your goal is not to have the best winrate, it's to give yourself the best chance of going undefeated. If your pool looks really weak, try to build the most all-in aggressive deck possible so that you can steal games even against people who are 5-0 due to their bombs. If you have 2-3 great cards in a third color but no fixing, splash anyway. And so forth.
