Depends on Rav, Red can't be a deck as long as Timely/Batterskull/Wurmcoil/Pristine Talisman remains.
And everyone's favorite 20 lifepoint swing card, Sword of War and Peace.
4/5 of those are scars ^_^
Likewise, so is Shrine and Volt Charge and Berserker.
flunkies > berserker nothing > volt charge + shrine (proliferate was only good with koth n shrine anyways )
they need to reprint a really good 2/1 1drop for RDW to have a decent shot at tier 1 though. I miss the rage that I got for just jamming t1 guide vs people on modo
also a good haste 3drop to play nice w flunkies
Dunno, Berserker on the curve with BT > Flunkies. Shrine is good just because so few cards interact with it. Volt Charge was about as good as it got, effectively 3+ most of the time.
Return to Ravnica block is Large Set - Large Set - Small Set.
Second set in the block is called Gatecrash.
Drafting is Triple RTR at first, then Triple Gatecrash, followed by Third Set - Gatecrash - RTR.
Azorius, Selesnya, Golgari, Rakdos, and Izzet are in Return to Ravnica
Boros, Orzhov, Dimir, Simic and Gruul are in Gatecrash
Third set has all ten guilds.
Sounds like 2 Planeswalkers in RTR (including Jace), 2 Planeswalkers in Gatecrash (including Gideon). My guess is that there will be one in the Third Set.
This video has a run down of the new products for the rest of the year plus additional information on RTR block including Guild Leaders, Prerelease info (each guild has their own prerelease card).
Adding, you pick a guild at prerelease and get a guild box. The box has a playable prerelease foil, and one of your packs will have cards exclusively in that guild's colors. Neat.
Well this is step 1 in making Rav 2.0 as good as Rav 1.0.
For those of you who weren't playing then, RGD (Rav-GP-Diss) is largely regarded by everyone as the BEST block Wizards has ever done in ANY (non-Eternal) format. So it has giant shoes to fill, and by giant I mean RGD saved MtG considering the 2 blocks before it.
Edit:
And the land art....sooooo goooooddddd drooooolll.
Yah, not to get too into the color identity conversation, cause it can get pretty pedantic and terrible....but I just always thought of RW like "Hoorah"-army types or the righteous fury angry Ajani type. Not that Gideon couldn't be that, I just thought he was more of a measured dude.
He's Boros because he follows or had followed instructions and guidance from others hence his conversation with Chandra when he was chasing and catching up with her. His laws/values are only told by others not established by himself until his little life-changing talk with Chandra. The better question is whether Gideon would be someone who would sit and scheme?

No, because Boros were the enforcers, the police of Rav. Azorious were the law makers or politicians. Gideon has never been the latter but the former.
Edit:
Xiphos, I do to the point of not reading the books because they're not so good....
The Ravnica's series were pretty awesome though...
I love how the write made it seems that Rocs Policeman were a majestic sight in their community but it was also a mundane one. Like how it integrated modern elements with a touch of fantasy.
Are the other books really that bad?
I mean I know that Planewalkers probably ruined many lore because to be frank, I don't care about any of them!

Still building the card pool, any thoughts?
Basically 4 of everything you want to tutor with and the rest are mana ramp. I built one for MWS just for fun and its hilariously fun just to do nothing and then delay the fuck out of the opposing deck for 50 cards.
Anyways, just finished up a local standard went 3-1 dropping a close match to Mono Green, beat Japanese Delver, Mono Red, WB Humans, played UW tap out with black splash for Alchemy flashback. Think the worst match ups are Delver and Mono-Green at something like 4/6 to like 5/5 in the best case scenario post board. Every other creature deck is free and nobody plays UB level control, so its whatever.
So is the new client playable? I'm trying it out and it seems to be worse than the old client, believe it or not. All the proportions in the game window are messed up, I don't know how to look at the ongoing matches in an event, chat window really gets in the way, etc etc.
