Definitely count me in and now I'm going to kill a ton of time reading up on theorycraft. Is there anything we need to do aside from post in the "Check in here" thread? Keep up to date with the goings-on in TL and the forums. Keep active in TL Forums, stay generally, well, alive. Until we get a release date things are nice and casual. The guild forums are generally a place to hang out and meet the others, nothing required as of yet. And welcome ![]()

Sadly i have my doubts. I hope i'm wrong though, would suck to see the TL community split into two very unequal halves.

I assume it will mirror that, but the developers do seem commited to delivering something special with this game, but we will hae to see. This is a rather ambitious project, could the lack of updates be hinting at production problems with budget or other hitches that will slow it up.

Before playing any of the mainstream MMOs that used tank/healer/dps (was playing a bit before WoW came out), I played a text MUD (still alive and kicking) that used a health/mana elixir system. Basically you'd buy a ton of elixirs and you can take a "sip" to heal 15-20% or so of your health or mana, which had roughly a 5 second cooldown. While there was a Priest class, it was just a different class. Everybody took care of their own healing, making the game far more dynamic whether it be soloing or PVP. Seeing Guild Wars 2 trying to move away from the "looking for healer" trend is really refreshing. Won't say that I'll play for sure just yet, but definitely gonna keep it on the radar.

Didn't play the first one, though had some friends that played it briefly and enjoyed it (though they like to play their games hardcore mode, even if it's self inflicted). Couldnt have worded it any better. Im wondering if there will still be the availability of having one class specialize in healing if they still choose however. I know they want to get away from the idea all raids/groups need a healer, but what if groups "choose" to. Im hoping they allow for that.
