Maybe you can help TL! As I said previously my girlfriend is playing necro. Which of the three above mesh the best FOR PVE. I will have my own seperate PvP characters that I will do little to any PvE on because of the awesome sPvP system I can do whatever I want for competitive PvP! So, TL which in your opinion would be the most enjoyable for PvE with a necro gf? Elementalist, Warrior or Guardian! I need help I'm wayyy to indecisive.

Well tbh every class can be played as every role (more or less effectively) - so as much as I'm tempted to say "go Warrior to beat stuff up while she supports from range, Guardian to tank for her and support while she wrecks stuff or Elementalist for double kite-rape like total bros" all of those apply to all of the classes. A warrior built for survivability and utility with shouts, etc. can easily fill the tanky support role; the Guardian can go for sword+torch/greatsword and annihilate everything in sight; and the Elementalist can just as easily spec for survivability as he can for all kinds of damage or support. Hell, you can go for rifle on a warrior and attack from range while the necro tanks with daggers in melee ![]()

The different armor type was a good suggestion, I forgot about that. We can maximize loot that way. I think I've decided. My PvE will be a warrior first, and then elementalist for pvp. Which the ease of switching classes or re-rolling for PvP, I'm much less worried about that decision.

Mind rounding up some sources to back up your accusations? Team Liquid doesn't really like having people spreading baselss rumors around. Also, if you look a few pages back, Team Legacy's guild leader laid out the timeline of Team Legacy's development and stated clearly that the only affiliation Team Legacy has with Teamliquid.net anymore is that a lot of Team Legacy's users are fans of TL.net and Starcraft 2.

It really depends since there are two types of "quests" in the game: "heart" quests and dynamic events. "Heart" quests are basically areas marked by a heart on the map. They are most similar to your normal MMORPG quests. You basically get a bar that fills up as you do stuff like finish chores, kill monsters, and help people in the general vicinity of the heart. Once the bar fills up, you get a one-time reward of XP and karma. To be honest, the heart quests are kinda mundane and most similar to your usual quests from other games, but they actually aren't a core part of the questing system. They just exist to guide you to the general vicinity of nearby dynamic events, and doing the dynamic events also has the bonus of completing the requirements for these heart quests, like killing monsters or reviving downed NPCs. Also, heart quests start to disappear as you venture into higher-level areas where they gradually get replaced by more and more dynamic events before disappearing entirely. And it's really hard to describe dynamic events since there is a lot of variety when it comes to them. There are a lot of escort missions for dynamic events, like protecting some scouts or caravans as they make their way through an area. Some events involve defending an area or fighting off waves of attacking enemies, and sometimes there are consequences to failing these events such as having entire towns and outposts become overrun with enemies until you clear them out in a subsequent dynamic event. Of course, there are events that involve killing a boss creature, which sometimes pops up at the end of a chain of dynamic events. And there is the "personal story" that replaces the main quest and is different depending on your race and some choices that you made in the character creation. A decent handful of story-related dungeons also exist.

I have been watching some videos and PvP seems awfully slow, people take forever to die, not that I like people dying with only two or three hits, but taking around 40 seconds to die while you are being focused by 4 people seems so uninteractive. I saw footage of a condition Ranger killing an engineer in less than 8 seconds with like 23 stacks of bleed he was able to quickly put up. Warriors have some pretty insane burst builds as well ;one charged me in the last stress test and killed me in about 4 seconds while I was stunned or something with like 3-4 allies all around me attacking him and still failing to stop him before I was down. I'm sure there's others I'm not aware of too. If it took four people 40 seconds to kill one person (even if they were like a super tanky Guardian), it probably just means that the four individuals were all terrible and/or doing something wrong.

Did they totaly get rid of the "healing class" as we know? In videos it seems that most people just heal themself mostly... But i like healing :O So u cant be the complete super healer anymore?!
