These were hella easy, safer sephiroth was way harder. The final colossus from Shadow of the Colossus was pretty epic... Dragovian Trials from Dragon Quest 8. (Shit is crazy) The Ice Boss from Descent 2 (He wasn't even the final boss, just terribly cheap and overpowered) Vergil in Devil May Cry 3 was a pain in the ass. Who is this? Definitely a spine tingling moment. Blizzard does a fantastic job of creating those moments with their fights, both in their RTS's(Archimonde's entrance into Azeroth in wc3 is AMAZING), and obviously in WoW. | ||

 generally I'm not a huge fan of bosses that are purely pattern-based (such as most bosses in Ninja Gaiden) or just require X weapon to beat (like most "bosses" in half-life that just requre you to shoot with a rocket launcher a few times). I generally enjoy boss fights most when they also blend in puzzle-elements that require you to think as you fight and figure out the "secret" to beating them (this is another reason why shadow of colossus is one of my favorite games of all time lol). so some of my favorite bosses include: warhawk (final boss helicopter guy from twisted metal black): such a great boss because not is it a very hard fight, you are forced to fight an enemy in a way you never had to before in the game (by blowing up the tankers when he got near). hydra from God of War 1: I love how you have to come to realize that you must kill the tiny heads 1st before tackling the big head (also love the way you have little scuffles with it 1st throughout the 1st level. It was so awesome back then. I wish god of war 2 and 3 didnt totally copy that formula VERBATIM :\). almost every colossi from shadow of the colossus lol The End from MGS3: epic hour-long sniper battle unlike anything else in the game. tons of tools and routes you can take to beating him too. for some reason I've suddenly caught writes block and cant think of more boss fights :\. ill post again later when I can think of em. | ||

we spent 3/4 of the game preaparing to save the world from him, defeat him, run through a crumbling tower, the tower collapes just as we escape, we start to celebrate. THEN BAM HA HA HA YOU THINK I GANNONDORF IS DEAD HA HA TRANSFOOOOORM!!!!! scariest shit for a kid to go through. | ||
