I am not arguing about Young's merits as a QB. I am referring to the mindset that the Eagles could be in a similar situation where Kolb isn't going to do anything now AND that Vick is apparently playing well, so why not try Vick for now until otherwise. Vick hasn't been stuck up about it and it all seems to work out well on a team level, no real harm can come out of this decision is what I am trying to get at.

• The Titan defense put the team in holes in the first and second quarters of almost all those games. You have major problems if Kenny Britt is your #1 and you're playing from behind. They are a run first team whether it's the Drunk or the Bust at the helm. • In the first six games, CJ had one game with 20+ carries (namely, because the D sucked and the Titans are a run team playing catch up in all the others). The next 10, he had one game where he didn't break 20 carries. The D did not shit the bed early, forcing Titans to pass. • First six games of the season included a number of good teams, or at the very least, good defensive teams. PIT, HOU, NYJ, JAC, IND, NWE is >>>> JAC, SFO, BUF, HOU, ARI (All VY Wins). Besides Indy and SD (both VY losses) the second half of the season was a cakewalk. Giving undue credit to the QB is a phenomenon that I cannot understand at all. It's not just you: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/recap;_ylt=ApcLzYWu6ZikgJr2Z_caCnr.uLYF?gid=20091101010 CJ pops off a franchise record 228 and 2 TDs, and Vince young, he of 125 yards on the day, gets the lede. Good lord.

Pick three: Marques Colston vs. Atlanta Hines Ward @ Tampa Austin Collie @ Denver Mike Williams vs. San Diego Demaryius Thomas vs. Indi Collie vs Denver gives me a rager this week if Bailey and Goodman are out. Hooooooly shit is that Indy passing attack gonna eat Denver alive if that's the case. I don't like Thomas this week, because I think Denver will pound the ball early, and try to keep Manning on the sidelines.. after they go down by 14, Freeney and Mathis feast for the second straight week, and that's bad news for any Denver WR's. Granted, Clady can take on one of those guys 1v1, and McDaniels is probably smart enough to leave extra help if his guys are getting destroyed. This is all if Bailey and Goodman are out. As good as Colston is, you saw Monday that he's not the #1 guy... you saw that there is no #1 guy. I hate all NO WR's for this reason, and will not put them on my team. It's too much of a crap shoot. This leaves us with Ward and Williams. Williams is the undoubted number one there, and he's kicking ass lately. Steelers can't pass the ball right now. Willaims is your best choice at this point, imo... but I think Thomas has a higher risk/higher reward behind him. I'd play Williams if you think another 7-8 point performance will win it, but if you feel like you're going to need some big production from some of your guys, I'd probably risk it on Thomas.

I can't believe someone dropped Addai. He's consistently like 1400 total yards and 14TD's per year. Good back to have on the team because of his effectiveness in the passing game.

For WR: Colston @ ATL Boldin @ CLE Floyd @ SEA Mike Williams @ PIT Hines Ward At TB Thinking of playing the first three wide receivers. AT RB Brandon Jackson @ CHI Steven Jackson @ WAS Ryan Matthews @ SEA Tim Hightower @ OAK Jerome Harrison @ BAL I probably will play brandon and steven but I kind of want to take a risk with Hightower because i think Wells will still be out. Also Hightower has done well the past two weeks; i think he had 18 points last week.

Good back to have on the team because of his effectiveness in the passing game. What's even more funny is that he dropped him for Jason Snelling. I mean he's been playing MJD and Arian Foster, but MJD hasn't done much as of late. I would of played Addai until MJD got on track, but his loss is my gain.

Good lord. Your still missing my point...you can bring up all the statistics in the world that supports your point (which by the way I am not refuting in any which way). The simple fact of the matter is that the Titans couldn't win until Young became QB; that brings up A LOT what if Young started the season, remember the Titans had high hopes for 2009, so it leaves the fan base wondering. The Eagles are trying to avoid being placed in a similar situation with Kolb and Vick despite "lower" expectations of the franchise, but Philly fans unfortunately aren't so forgiving. I agree with all your points, as you noticed I haven't even attempted to refute them, it's a simple perception versus reality dilemma, but in Philly's case, Vick hasn't proved himself to be shitty yet, so why not? Kolb's been lackluster, had a concussion, playing behind a shitty o-line, all in limited action, so why not work a possible transition phase by easing Kolb into the starter's role since he obviously isn't having a great first step so far?

My starting WRs are AJ, Steve Smith (Car) and Mike Williams (TB), which to me looks like a solid trio to keep. I only have one backup (Nate Washington). I'm really not sure if I should try to offer him some sort of trade, given that I feel like stud #1 WRs are really hard to come by... but then again so are stud #1 RBs, which he has an obvious surplus of. Taking note that I'm somehow #1 in my league at the moment despite my string of 1st round pick fails continuing... wondering if people would actively try to pursue this line or if they'd stand pat ;x

I'm having more fun watching College Football games, and keeping my eye on the top QB prospects that we could pick up with the number 1 pick next year. But it won't make a difference, he could be the next Manning, and we would manage to screw him up. You could have ended your post on your first sentence and we could figure out the rest. I have a friend that's a Bills fan and he's like slash wrists come Sunday. Anyways, I wouldn't be terribly worried about Marshall, both teams like to run before pass.
