James Harrison (#3 in the rankings) had like 40 more tackles than Clay, but three less sacks. Polamalu had 60 something tackles and seven picks. I honestly thought Clay had a loooot more tackles than that. He is always all over the damn field when I watch him. I honestly think I would have given it to him... good defense, but it's not at the level of the Steelers, which makes it more of an accomplishment. Plus, the dude accounted for like 60% of the team's sacks this season or something

The point of the pro bowl was never really the game. I mean, they broadcast it to keep people interested in football in the weekend between the conference championships and the super bowl (and before they broadcasted it to give people one last dose of football before the offseason). However, I always saw it as a contract incentive for the players (make the pro bowl = get more money). In that respect an all pro list would do the same job. I guess I could see them going either way with it, but they will probably keep some sort of all pro list just for contract negotiation reasons.

I mean I always enjoy the NBA allstar game and the NHL allstar game where it's just constant fast breaks and free shots on goalies (poor guys)

The nba one is meh. I can't tell the difference. Spare for a few squads that play a team game, most teams are just selfish play, isos and halfassed defense. Dunno, dont find that interesting without people trying...the dunk competition is cool though. baseball is ok too because they dont try the other 162 games of the year anyway, so you cant tell the difference! only when selig calls a fuckin all star game early

The Steelers deserve to be in the Superbowl, far more than the Jets. now I can't fucking wait for the Super Bowl. The Packers and Steelers run such similar defenses (considering both D Coordinators worked with each other on the Steelers before), and both Aaron Rodgers and Big Ben are monsters at keeping plays alive. Not to mention in the badass stadium that is the Cowboys Stadium.

Actions speak louder than words but I'm happy they're at least saying they're still sticking to that commitment :D

Suh picked over Bradford as Pepsi Rookie of the Year. I'm a bit surprised, but if anyone deserved it other than Bradford it would be Suh.

Suh was ridiculous. Yeah this, it's pretty rare... Suh is a fine choice too though, but I think the Rams were not even in the playoff picture without Bradford... Suh, little different. He's obviously important, but Detroit is slowly accumulating other good pieces too

Suh was ridiculous. You mean the Heisman Award for Most Overrated Quarterback/Running Back on a Stacked Football Factory Team? I think Suh's a great choice.
