I wasn't high on him though. I just thought he was the best left. (I just don't want any confusion about my disliking of Flacco.)
I guess that's mostly true though. It's not like he ever had WR's in Philly anyway, and he was putting up big numbers. So maybe T3 was a bit low.
forget the fact that he's driving drunk, only a fuckin retard would willingly drive in the city. millions of cabs, you can afford a limo, the league/jets have a players service for that shit... and you DRIVE. Holy fuck.

I'm not so sure. I don't believe he's ever had problems with DUIs before, so the league might just fine him. On the other hand, he has been a bit of a disciplinary problem, so maybe they will suspend him a little. I doubt it will be anything like 4 games though.
According to a league spokesman, DUIs are reviewed under the NFL's substance-abuse policy. There is no automatic suspension under any circumstances. The league isn't commenting on a possible outcome or specifics.
The first substance-abuse offense is not subject to suspension for a player, only a fine, which is half of a game check with a maximum of $50,000. It is not known if Edwards ever had a violation under the substance-abuse policy (the program is confidential) and if he would be subject to a suspension for a second offense.
The assault charge that Edwards previously had while in Cleveland is covered under the NFL's personal conduct policy and the two can't be used together against a player.
I think the Jets will act before the NFL does, and I'd be really surprised if he wasn't suspended.
lemme just say ill take mcnabb over flacco flacco doing a good job chumping it up (although to be fair week 1 was vs jets) week 3 maybe a different story but i so regret benching mcnabb for flacco week 2
wtf braylon edwards DUI? goddam i got him on my team too

It's easy to say now. But everyone was expecting Falco to finally not suck with all the weapons he has now. And he's disappointed everyone. I'd gladly take McNabb over Falco at this point.

Nice, definitely ups the value of my fantasy pick up last week. Looks like I'll be rolling 4 deep soon at QB. Hurray for shit QB's on your team! HURRAY!
Wishy washy Reid. One of the smarter coaches in the league, but he does shit that is just so mind bogglingly stupid some times. I'm sure his QBs and the rest of the team love this rapdily building drama bomb.

Hmm I don't know much about that organization's management. I guess I just assumed they were in the Jerry Jones category after all the egos they collected in the offseason and the subsequent trashtalking. If they take it upon themselves to suspend him, then I salute the Jets organization for doing the right thing.

I'm going to grab up every decent FA QB I can, and see who performs the best over the next couple of weeks. I've got Favre, and Vick right now. Looking to grab Freeman, and Alex Smith as well. Smith has a really nice schedule. If he can play like he did in the fourth all game... could be really good. Probably not, but worth a shot at it anyway.
So the Eagles get rid of Mcnabb because he was inaccurate and couldnt make the big passes. Now they replace him with a dude with a far worse career completion% and an insanely worse TD to INT ratio.
Eagles really should have given the guy they hyped up for a year + more than 10 snaps in a game before freaking REPLACING him. Kolb was their future, and even if he isn't good they aren't even giving him the chance to show them that.
SInce the Eagles O line seems to suck so much Vick indeed might do better than Kolb right now, but they waste alot of experience for the QB they have said was and will be their main man.
Could they possibly be thinking Vick could be their QB for years? What happens when his legs go out? What happens when he plays pretty crappy, like he did most of his career?
Maybe the Kolb concussion is worse than it was reported? Or, what if Andy Reid recognizes that their line is shit, and Kolb is just going to get murdered behind it? Why risk another concussion, and possibly end the career of your replacement QB?
ehhhhhh eagles aren't relaly in a win now situation. They still need to re-tool their O-line, and most of their players are in the 24-28 range which is a bit young to really be making a run. The logic behind benching Kolb to protect him kind aof makes sense......but at the same time he really needs real game reps if he ever wnats to get better. Playing against practice squad players and working out only gets you so far
