i really wish they should stop nerfing shit and just make everything else OP. the game is basically single player with no competitive elements and has very little skill involved. can't we just kill monsters in peace with a variety of builds all being viable and OP?

So basically what happened

Monks:
They got buffs, but it werent the buffs monks were hoping. I know some physical monks are pretty mad but overall good buffs!
Crusader
Akkarts and Gryff builds are "Nerfed"
Gryffs deal harder impact damage, but the shatter shields deal literally 50% less damage (thy were doing 330% pre patch). But there are passives now that increase Blessed Shield Damage by 20%.
Shotgun got buffed, but they fixed where other runes didnt stack. Fate of the Fell = Shotgun might not be the case anymore
FOTH Got buffed and nerfed (mainly buffed). Impact damage is crazy high but secondary damages got nerfed. They also got a fire rune
Blessed hammer lol.
Shield bash is now legit.
Wizards
Sources arent ass anymore. You guys will notice your right clicks get really high now

Barbs
Earthquake set got nerfed really really hard.
Female barb got nerfed too
But SoH got buffed? So rejoice?

There are a tons of nerfs to the crusader. Mostly AoE damage from wrath spenders, and current stapples on crusaders builds like provoke charged up.

with the buffs on the passives, Im not sure how noticeable the nerf to blessed shield is overall. on top of that, the buffs to crusaders other skills will definitely make them a lot more competitive compared to other classes than before.

So... EQ/Leap set no longer viable? Good thing I started a WD before all this...

Rather than rolling for a Critical Hit, Haunt will now calculate an average damage augmented by your Critical Hit Chance and Critical Hit Damage on application and apply that damage evenly over the duration of the entire DoT

Note: Since the skill can no longer deal a Critical Hit, it will no longer trigger effects that occur on Critical Hit




Are they serious, they want to tell me they are unable to make DoTs calculate crits for each tick?

I don't think it's too bad. You just get the average instead of sometimes a lot and sometimes very little.

Can anyone elaboroate whether the changes to the class-specific weapon gambling actually affects class-specific leg drop chance? I'm not convinced that this actually matters.

it will still be really really good, you just cant skip a fury generator now (wich I already did because frenzy maniacs 12,5% damage I felt was better then hota)

think EQ is fine, just use frenzy+full fury instead of hota, or eq+ik and keep hota. although it does sort of ruined my eq helm by making one of the affixes useless...
