just kidding, but the concept should be clear. this way, trading is possible if it really benefits your character, but there is no way to make profit with it and players cant make it the sole purpose of their d3 time to trade. it would also add a longterm goal to playing since you can now play your favorite and most well-geared char for the higher chance at trade-worthy legends which you then can trade to equip your alts.

People will just stash "high value" poor stat items to trade away as garbage to a guy selling them something really good. But why is that even a problem? E-peen issues? It's not like he is paying for you having no fun...

I meant Blizzard doesn't want people paying for items under the table, on forums and other services (like gold selling in WoW). No matter how you try to institute an in-game trade system where it forces the players to trade items of "equal value" (whatever that means IN GAME) there will always be a market for monetary exchange for items. Not sure what I implied in the first post but it seems to have confused.

I was on top of the world when RoS launched, blinded by my own hype once again. I'm not saying RoS is a bad game, it certainly isn't. It's a good game, maybe even a great game and it's made tremendous strides over D3V but it's still not the diablo game *I* want. I don't feel cheated, or scammed or that I didn't get my monies worth, but I will definitely be playing less and less as the months go on. This is a bit sad for me because in my head, diablo is a game that doesn't ever really stop. It's a game that I envision playing forever (relatively speaking) in the same vain as I did diablo 2. I didn't play every ladder of d2, or login daily, but it's a game that you can pickup at any point, create a new build/character, trade, farm, pray to rng, pvp and stop at anytime knowing you can do something interesting the next time you decide to take your next journey. D3ROS is the antithesis of the play style listed above. Essentially your only choice is to grind countless hours for lottery drops to make your character jump from the t1-3 tier, to the t4-6 tier. Grinding forever for damn near ZOD rune drop rates for the very, very few game changing legendaries is the only end game. Mindlessly praying that BiS gear eventually drops is all there is. Grinding hundreds of hours to find items that let you clear t6 rifts a couple minutes faster is literally, the entire end game. That isn't exciting, dynamic or very engaging to me. Hopefully we get ladders, dynamic and varied seasons (ala PoE), new build changing legendaries, more community features, competition such as perhaps races, tiered rifts, pvp, and things I cannot even think of come out with the major content patch which could create the Diablo that "I" want but honestly, I'm not holding my breathe.

I don't see the justification for the majority of the player base to have neutered experience because X% minority are going to exploit. Seriously, who cares? Especially in a game like D3 where it's current iteration has literally 0 competitive features. Oh don't get me wrong, I agree. I'm just saying that's likely the culprit.

I didn't mean to post as if I was attacking or arguing with you, sorry if it came off that way. <3 I'm just annoyed blizzard decided to take such a hardliner stance to stop 'black market' transactions even if it means making the game worse for the normal user. That seems backward to me. The rest of the post just ended up becoming a rant I decided to post out of nowhere lol. ![]()

I didn't mean literally "you", but any player at all actually (yeah, i have weird way of expressing thoughts) ![]() Anyways i still think that shutting down AH was a bad move by Blizz, they were right from the very beginning about D3, but community decided they know better. Same with with complains about no stat allocation, i wonder if with paragon points allocation added there are still that many people who don't agree that stat points = unnecessary clicking because there will always be the best way of stat distribution and spending them on suboptimal things doesn't change your experience anyway.

Create a game on T6 in adventure mode and get a higher level buddy to clear hell rift. You can go 1-65 in < 1 hour doing that. Then do bounties by yourself for the rest. Shouldn't take too long.

Why don't they ever find a solution to this crap?

Why don't they ever find a solution to this crap? Find a weapon with a socket and chug a ruby in that mofo. You'll be oneshotting everything up to Torment1 at least untill level 30. Then just dial down the dificulty as you level. There is no reason to not at least play on hard. I started a new WD recently, and after one playthrough in about 8 hours I was level 62. Then some bounties and rifts for a bit and you're 70.
