More dense so it's harder to complete in the timeframe or more hp/more damage mobs making it dangerous for HC players to compete? I assume its mostly a hp/dmg scaling since thats the only thing they can really scale into infinity. Each rift has a higher % scaling then the one before. HC players need to be careful indeed but they can go until a point where they consider it to dangerous to go on. My thought is what is there beyond scaling difficulty. Is there more/better loot for each higher tier? Sure there is the epeen contest but I would hope there is more incentive for it such as higher drop chances. Timing i would say is unlikely since they mention a ranking based on time to complete.

Either way with 5 mill you will be absolutely fine on T1, with 350k dps it might be a tad slow though (do you run Steady Aim?thats 20% extra sheet dps that you won''t alwys have) Its 500k. I haven't ventured into T1 since I hit 70, but I ran 60-68 on T1 and towards the end I was getting 1-shot all the time so I dropped the difficulty. My 350k deeps is without Steady Aim or Sharpshooter or any of the other passives that jack that up.

Blood shard vendor Kadala makes it relatively easy to get a set of ilvl 70 gear with the affixes you're looking for on every item.

Dont forget only 10% of your MF is applied to legendary items chances.

You should replace all your gear within a couple of hours, and be sitting around the 500kdps/3-4 mil toughness range very quickly. After you get a bunch of blood shards, gamble at your weakest slot until you find an upgrade.

Just 200% gf. You get the same drops from normal through master. I think torment has higher legendary find, not magic find in general. Edit: I think expert is only 100% gold find. Master is 200%

I also just started RoS as well. From what I gathered from the D3 subreddit, the rewards in completing all bounties of an act are the same in all difficulties. Btw, I've read that people farm act 1 for rings and act 2 for gloves. Is there anything else people farm for specifically?

There is a list here http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/12329133264 I believe the gloves everyone farms in act 2 are the 10 minute shrine gloves because they're overpowered in rifts currently. And the ring is for one less set item for the bonus.

Blood shard vendor Kadala makes it relatively easy to get a set of ilvl 70 gear with the affixes you're looking for on every item. Most of my armor is still lvl60 and I was pretty glass cannon before... I am finding lots of upgrades. In the first hour I found a 1-handed bow that was a 30% upgrade over my 2socket manticore.

Wyatt Cheng: New end game challenges... Josh mentioned that the first content patch is going to have Seasons. I'm happy to announce that there is another major feature coming in the patch 2.1, which is going to be what we're internally calling Tiered Rifts. The idea behind that is an actual challenge scenario, where players do increasingly hard Rifts, to try and see who can get the farthest. The basic mechanics that we have working right now is: you go through the game in Adventure Mode, you do your Bounties, you do a Nephalem Rift. If you clear the Nephalem Rift, there's a chance to get what's called a Greater Rift Token. If you successfully clear the Greater Rift in a certain time limit, then you unlock a Greater Rift Key (Rank 2). If you clear that one, you get Rank 3, etc. Each one is harder than the previous one. Much like Seasons, we're looking at having a leaderboard as well, so you'll be able to compare your progress to the people on your Friends List, your Clan, and the whole region. You'll be able to see who got to the highest Tiered Rift, and what time were they able to obtain on that. So it seems these Greater Rifts will be time based.
