I kinda dislike that. Overall I dont think there is much between T1 and T6 other then harder mobs. Or is the difference in drops actually noticable?

We'll see if they add items to higher tiered rifts. Much better location than T6 imo

so do the good legendaries only drop in torment or just a "high" chance in torment?
took the advise and did adventure in normal and got myself up to 450k/3.2M within the hour. but i guess incremental improvements going to be hard unless i go torment?

We've been keeping a close eye on player feedback regarding Legendary crafting materials (specifically their drop rates) as well as on our own internal data. Right now, we agree that the drop rates do feel a little low and somewhat prohibitive, particularly since crafting adds another layer of RNG to the mix. In an upcoming patch we're going to be buffing the drop rates for Legendary crafting mats by a fair amount, effectively bringing them in line with the drop rates for Death's Breath.
In case some of you may not have seen previous posts where we've shared the rates for Death's Breath, here you go:
Normal - 15% Hard - 18% Expert - 21% Master - 25% Torment 1 - 31% Torment 2 - 37% Torment 3 - 44% Torment 4 - 53% Torment 5 - 64% Torment 6 - 77%
This also brings up another opportunity for clarity: While the drop rates for Legendary crafting mats do scale with difficulty, their scaling is independent of the Legendary drop rate bonus slider in Torment 1-6. /themoreyouknow Gonna start saving up some white shoulders and preparing to nuke azmodan a couple dozen times on T3 or so then.

That says upcoming, which means it might not have been changed yet. MORE CORE RUNS BEFORE THEY NERF IT!!! But really I'm glad they are finally nerfing it after being in beta for so long, about time. I like the rift change too. Right now I just run bounties and only do rifts for the forgotten soul chance from the boss. With over 300 rift fragments saved up I think I know what I'll be doing this weekend...

still kind of silly for some non-passive legendary crafts to require a top tier gem. pls.

If you can clear torment at a reasonable pace you should be playing torment unless you're trying to farm specific legendaries like the shrine gloves that can drop in normal. Your stats are on the cusp of torment though so whether you feel you're ready or not is personal opinion. Personally I'd say your toughness is a bit low, but I play hardcore so you might not care about dying.

Went through 150 fragments leveling to 70 and then they decide to buff legendary drops

The current drop rates if you were wondering..
Thanks for the good job of Tekoa. I'll throw in here the probability of loss of these legendary materials to complete the thread The likelihood of falling increases with the level of difficulty and the following at different levels: Normal: 5 High: 6 Expert: 7.2 Master 8.6 Anguish I: 10.4 Anguish II: 12.4 Anguish III: 14.9 Anguish IV: 17.9 Agony V: 21.5 Agony VI: 25.8

A post on the forums just accidentally revealed the magic find increase in torment levels which blizzard has been keeping hidden:
Great question! (I was actually looking for a good thread in which to drop this information.)
So, the 25% bonus to Legendary drops in Nephalem Rifts is multiplicative and will actually stack with the scaling Legendary drop rate bonus in Torment 1-6.
This means if you're playing through a Rift in Normal-Master, you'll have a 25% bonus to Legendary drops. If you're playing through a Rift in Torment 1, you'll have a 43% bonus to Legendary drops (1.15 * 1.25 = 1.43). If you're playing through a Rift in Torment 2, you'll have a 65% bonus to Legendary drops (1.32* 1.25 = 1.65). And so on.
Hope that helps clear some things up a bit. (Also, I really hope my math checks out. >.>)
Note that we're going to continue to keep an eye on Rifts and how rewarding they are (or, more importantly, how rewarding they feel). We've already seen some great feedback from players on that topic that we're taking a look at now. This buff is just a small change we could make quickly, and we're definitely looking forward to your feedback over the next few days.

The chance for a player to earn a Legendary item from Kadala has been significantly increased.
And I just spent my 500 shards yesterday.

They increase it everytime on a weekly basis, Im thinkining of saving to 500 shards then spending 100 at a time until the next patch rolls out
then again I can wait forever fort hat.

And I just spent my 500 shards yesterday. This change is already live for a few days. They just expand the list with every hotfix, so there are a lot of changes in there that are already live for a while.
So you didn't really waste your shards, just didn't seem to have any luck, even with the increased drop rates

It doesn't matter for me how much they increase the rate. I'm going on 4000 blood shards spent and all it has been is a veiled crystal generator so far.

The thing that makes me hate Rifts is the annoying inconsistency of monster saturation. Some Rifts zones are filled with stuff to kill and it's fun. Other are the pandemonium fortress like areas and you find 3 enemies every 100 yards. Very frustrating.

They buffed that like a week ago.

Can you get any legendary (other than 70 sets) from Kadala for any slot? I've bought like 500 pairs of pants and not seen a single orange or green.

I have gotten 2 shields and a belt in roughly 4k shards so yes it is possible to get stuff other then sets. I have seen some people get cindercoats and various rings.

I have spent roughly 6500 shards and gotten 2 legendaries and 1 set item so far. Spent most shards before the buff though. Got a Tyraels Might, Chantodo's Force and Broken Crown
