I'm not sure what the exact timing of the enrage is, I think maybe 7 minutes(?). If you were doing a MP level where your group's damage isn't high enough to kill both within that time window you'd need to choose one target to kill first.

I'd say monks are quite safe from the nerf bat considering that barb in particular has ~18-19x damage scaling. I don't think it'd be possible for monks to exceed about 10x scaling anyways. I don't think it's the damage in particular that needs to be toned down, Good gear should allow you to kill faster and faster. I'd rather they just buff/nerf until all the classes get 12-18x scaling with a variety of builds(gear dependant). There are a pair of monks on US that pulled ~3M dps against Ghom. Not sure about the scaling since they refuse to show their gear (some misguided attempt to hide things from getting nerfed I guess, at least that's been Morionics m.o. in the past). I believe they're both around 220k dps? So the scaling is still worse than the other classes. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/7004013159 (The title says 2.2Mil, but the benchmarks are updated in the thread - also for the life of me I can't understand what they're talking about re: build differences, it has to be a gear thing since their specs are the same other than passives maybe). Also, is it cheating if they use a Stone of Jordan to get a 30% buff?

Wait what??? In D2 the accept button wasn't active for like 5 seconds after ANY changes to the trading window were made by either player. Did they seriously not do the same in D3?

Were you on a difficulty he hadn't unlocked? 30 plus killed Diablo on normal unlocks nightmare 50 plus killed Diablo on nightmare unlocks hell 60 plus killed Diablo on hell unlocks inferno. If he was inviting you, was it your level 60 HC or were you already in a party? Perhaps you have invites disabled in options or something like that.... Not sure but stuff can be disabled in options which could be why.

WoW - not that I play or like it) it does. The general idea is that the stats that you see are for creatures of your level and higher level npc's hit you harder / resist your hits or whatever. For example the damage inflicted on us is determined by the enemy NPC. I think it influences the resists (and thats why it was so much harder in act 3 in comparison to act 2). Anyway, good to know that my crit is intact :D
