PvP will have a influence aswell, but ladder resets is probably the easiest way to make the game fresh. Considering how much trouble they have with implementing PvP, and how much trouble they would have adding ladder seasons..

Multiplicative scaling makes sure that even if you have a good char (150k DPS 200k EHP) there will be people who are impossible to beat just due to sheer numbers. What I could see happening is damage -90% and healing reduced by 80%. I don't think there is much you can do about the gear issue though, people with significantly better gear are just going to win, and I think monks are actually going to destroy peeps in PvP due to thunderclap. Double low CD gap closers along with a 2k+% nuke+stun combo are going to make them really, really good.

Is it possible to join a game on a higher difficulty with someone so that they could carry you to level 60 real quick?

Then you can play the game or farm specific spot (depth act 3, one cave in the festering woods act1...)

Got my barb to lvl 60 in about 10h this way and i even played a lot by myself.

Anybody who has played to high level with both could help with advice on which is more fun or more effective. It also might be helpful for me to just know what skills are used most often for either class at level 60, so I level up until I unlock the skills and decide if I find them fun to use. Also, are 2h bow+quiver setups useful for demon hunter or are crossbows generally more effective?

I played a monk to level 60 and about halfway through inferno, so now I'd like to try a ranged character. I tried and didn't really like the witch doctor so I'm deciding between wizard and demon hunter. The most common are the critical mass build and the archon build, but there are many other viable options. I'd say of all the classes, you see the most variance in Wizard builds. For example, I was playing with a Wiz last night and he was running a Meteor build that I had never seen before, but it looked awesome. For Demon Hunters, there are two standards. The most popular is using a 2handed Xbow and Hungering Arrow / Cluster Bombs as your main attacks. The other, slightly less popular is using higher attack speed weapons, either a bow and quiver or dual wielding, and using Evasive Fire and Elemental Arrow-Ball Lightning. The first build gives you much more burst, the second much more AoE. Kind of up to you what you prefer. Right now, if I were you, I'd probably do a Wiz. There are so many things they can do right now that just seem like a lot more potential and flexibility. DH is pretty binary since the ToC nerf.

i barely notice slower killspeed untill mp5-6, couldnt others take advantage of that? like running with friends (you trust..) and share the items or do it for some gold/run

Got an ik's helm that rolled near perfect str and armor on mp1 which was at 50m before I left for work today. I would like to see a test of someone in godly gear farming mp0 for 100 hours and that same person in same gear/setup farm mp10 and see which one gets more legendaries per hour. My guess is they aren't that far off. At the very least though farming act3 mp0 is a viable farming method.

From personal experience, I found 50k to be the limit to farm A3MP0 efficiently. To do the exact same run (time, kills, mobs, packs, bosses) for just 25% MF/MP requires a lot more gear. What we monks are doing is going full movement speed using Tempest Rush and clearing MP0/1 @ 60% movement speed. Its both the best XP and loot.

A3 MP0 has the exact same drop tables as MP1+, so the only bonus you are getting is MF/bonus loot, and at low MP it really isn't worth it for the gear investmet. Except for that on MP1 you get ilvl63 rings, amulets, and class items. Furthermore, unlike MP0, every single bit of gear can roll ilvl63 stats when you are on MP1+. It's a huge gear buff.
