So I do the digital download of Diablo 2 last night and it asks me for my 26 character CD-Key.......I enter the CD-Key that's on my Diablo 2 CD case and it doesnt work....I count how many characters my CD key is on the case and it's only 16..WTFFFFFFF?!?!?!? Anyone know how I can fix this? Or have a CD key they dont mind parting with? Please PM me if you do...thanks. | ||

Not sure about insane mode, but likely it will be a 4th difficulty as Hardcore has already been confirmed awhile ago. Bashiok mentioned that they touched the holy ground they should NEVER ever touch: they thought/think about adding a feature that you can revive your hc-char with real money. WHY DID THEY DO THAT? It's a crime to just think about it, dunno if they denied it afterwards or not. D3 has to feature a real hardcore-mode and a way to pk dudes that do not belong into hardcore. In D2 the hc-com may consist mostly of arrogant assholes, but once you've got past the initial barrier(guys that act nice and rush you just to pk you in a baalrun with lvl40 for example :D) it's just wonderful. Everybody is your best friend and your greatest enemy at the same time. @daytrippers WTF? That sounds as if hc and sc are not seperated...they have to be. Or the whole game will be organized in a completely different way from D2. | ||

Who cares if you can find some +5 blizz orb or a fools weapon when occy or whatever other weapon equivalent you want is 10 times better? Some sick as hell fcr ammy MIGHT be better than a 30 maras but who the hell cares? Nobody will put the effort into finding one of those. Back in the days before extremely powerful uniques, everyone had a diff setup and put effort into itemizing; afterwards, everyone wore the same shit, and after duping, it's all hoz/enigma/hoto hammerdins and all that garbage. | ||

I know that there are many guys who have basically one setup and use that for every char(like you as it seems), but it's FAR from perfect. If you want a different setup from everyone else: go for it. The game gives you the possibility. If you don't use that possibility don't complain. If you like coop just play self found =) @Vaero We want to make sure that if you see a HC char on B.net, you’ll know they’re HC That is the sentence that makes me wonder. If they don't change anything from D2(you can already see if a char is hc or not in the chat) why mention it? | ||

I don't think having as much mode as d2 is good. Whenever you meet someone new it was like : -"Hey you play d2 cool ! On what ?" - "I play on US east NL HC " -" too bad i'm on USwest Ladder SC..." | ||
