PVP in diablo 2 was fun
but it was pretty mindless and dumb, it was fun for all the wrong reasons, it wasnt balanced, it wasnt "created around it", etc...
ARPG games should be created and balanced around PVP for it to work, but that means you make the GRIND/PVE part of the game worse

The D3 team started the game with an inflated power progression from the initial 1-60 leveling. Then they had to inflate the numbers every time they overhauled the game's progression and itemization systems. Every new feature added to the game (monster power, paragon levels, difficulty system overhaul, legendary gems, kanai's cube) would also inflate player power. Or we would still run around with a +5.5% cc mempo that we bought for traded 1.4B gold back when the AH was around. Anyway, as pointed out above, 1k, 1B, 10^97, doesn't really matter. What does annoy me a bit is how cluttered and hard to read it is. With the mess of numbers flying out of the monsters it can be pretty hard to tell 40,403,286 on some of the minor side-effects from 6,208,496,185 from the big meteor hits. There are many ways to make it more readable, using things such as colour, size, font, abbreviate to 40M and 6.2B, and so on. It's fun to see exactly how big the big hits are, but right now I am switching number on and off from day to day, as I am also annoyed at the clutter, and the difficulty to read them. I only now noticed that they implemented this. Blizz plz hire me.

Finally got a Shame of Delsere belt from Kadala last night and it's even an Ancient one with a decent roll. Was playing Tal Rasha with meteor boots and double hydra with T&T but holy damn is Delsere's set strong. Just flinging 3x Magic Missile with 50% faster speed is so much fun. Having to put everything under a Slow Time sphere is taking some getting used to though.
Currently not sure whether I should go for Energy Twister with the twisted sword (+150% dmg on twister for each twister that is active) or Triumvirate with 300% dmg bonus on Frozen Orbs. Both seem equally fast.
In either case, I'm now waiting for a decent Depth Diggers to further boost Magic Missile.

Think i remember an interview where the question was something like this "why do you like big numbers" The blizz dev then responded something like this "we like big numbers"
I think it was diablo 3. Or maybe it was wow. Anyway iam pretty sure it was something like this either way.

After the weekend grind: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Glacier-1662/hero/70965851
The LoN bombardment build seems really interesting, but some of the BiS item slots seem impossible to farm (ancient hexing pants/hellfire ammy with the right stats/thorns, don't think I will ever see one before the season ends)
I also have almost a full ancient Light set, but it doesn't seem to be very popular atm.

Hey shitbirds, asking again, does anyone have time to give me lift on HC EU? I can't face the leveling process again! Much appreciated.

But that all depends on how hard you want to progress. If your goal is just like, GR60+, then both should be ridiculously powerful for you

I just found out you can't use the "roll one set item to another" recipe if the set only has two pieces

First time ever on the leaderboard. Only rank 897 and probably gone when I wake up again but it does feel cool for this moment : D The game was extremely generous to me even though I get all the stuff for Marauder which I didn't want to play originally. Seemed boring but the cold spec makes it visually extremely satisfying to play.
