I thought this was a thing of the past when recall was added? o.O; Like it was an actual item, said it sold for 700, and the description was "press 7 at any time to return to base." It took up an inventory slot for him any everything. Anyone seen anything like this? o.O

Lag + Akali + Kassadin = instant death for Ashe TT I usually get Sage's Rings and Fairy Charms when I reconnect. I also know the ?-Icon that replaces some spells.

The delay on malth's q in TR is changed to .25 seconds and range on ult is 750 from 650. To give you an idea of range, Trist is like 700 at lvl 18.

Tiger stance isn't useless it just takes more of an assassin playstyle instead of a teamfighter, since the ticks from the dot can crit IIRC. Tiger Stance = Single Target Assassin, Phoenix Stance = Teamfighter. Suppression is "fixed" on the TR not live.

On August 29 2010 13:26 UniversalSnip wrote: A note about the word playstyle. This is a legitimate use. It's a warning that you shouldn't go on auto-pilot with runes anymore than you should with item builds - in other words to show adaptability so that your understanding of the game continues to grow. It's a method of exploring new ways of playing rather than an endpoint. There's another use of playstyle that is a red flag though. Coming from mtg I've been trained to disdain it. The decision-making process in that game (and in every game) is deterministic - all else being equal, there's one right choice, period. When people want to dodge out of this, they say some nonsense about their playstyle. This is never a good excuse because in this sense, playstyle refers to a lazy method of analysis. "I do it because it fits my playstyle" is code for "I do it because when I don't know what to do, I just do X." It shows a lack of reflection. So what is a bad use of playstyle? It's an excuse for not looking hard for the correct play. Is the correct play always accessible? No, and it's not in mtg either. It can be realistically impossible to actually determine the correct play, or even theoretically impossible I guess - irrelevant. The point is that too often people make a decision that they should have thought about more because they have this idea that they should slot things into their playstyle, instead of looking for what's best. It's also a method people admitting a mistake retrospectively. I caught myself making this mistake recently in quake. Why did I make that terrible attack on RA when I had a low stack? I'm aggressive, I try to break control very actively. Well no, I did it because 'be aggressive and try to break control' is my shortcut for when I'm too lazy to actually decide whether a play is the best option. There is a 'best play' that offers the best combination of reward if it works out, punishment if it fails, and probability of success. Sometimes finding it can be abstract, to the point of ridiculousness... but you should always be trying to figure whether what you have right now is it or not. A simple test is 'is this play worse than another play I could make?' @zerg_russian: USnip, and as of a couple days ago yes.
