was starting a game and this fellow right here asked if i was from TL! i responded yes and we asked about each others TL names. i was astounded to finally experience those moments where you meet somewhere from TL randomly! ^^

But yeah, if you are a threat, which, as a tank, you are supposed to be to an extent. It doesn't matter whether you have a Banshee's, they'll still all kill you. A tank doesn't stop being a target just by being immune to one spell every 30 seconds, it stops being a tank when the opposing team deems it is unnecessary to target the tank. The opening is based one yi i saw on hotshotggs stream, and thats basically the build which oi am trying to replicate as good as i can. And I dont think you've tried opening dagger on yi, because Im usually ahead of 2v2 lanes withoit kills. And meditate will save you ALOT (even though its weak compared to ap yi) and no way lifesteal before LATELATE game can be better than 200 mr / armor and 700 health regen. Usually I'd bow thinking that youre a superior player (which you are no doubt) but i doubt you tried it before at all. I feel as though its as fast as my udyr jungle. And think of my opening as opening at stone golems at udyr - you go back because of mana more than HP after wolves. The only thing cloth armor 5 pot would solve is having a safer feel to it and if you wanted to start at mana golem. being ahead of 2v2 lanes is par for the course as a jungler. that's not because you have a dagger, it's because you're getting solo exp while jungling. I dunno, just try it out with cloth, you should be able to have a longer first run in the jungle and then you should be tearing stuff up way quicker when you get your razors. I actually dunno if Cloth is the best opening for Yi, either. I really don't know. Also HSGG's stream is filled with shitty players so please please please don't take what you see there as gospel. The only reason why i felt like copying is that he did pretty good actually (with carrying and doing a fast jungle)

Obvious Ezreal is better, but he's probably the most op champ in the game. I always considered trist to be #2 best ranged dps in the game but after the patch I think kog'mow might be better. If you can play kog well, staying in the right position at all times, you should never be in a spot where you are forced to use an escape.

You don't have to stay at max range to be safe, you just have to use the terrain. On SR there are plenty of walls you can use that offer tons of safety while still giving you a lot of range to play with, or if there isn't a wall and flash is on CD you can shoot from near a wall and flash over. If you have to do this odds are someone was chasing you, in that case you can just start barraging them from the other side.

yawn...
![[image loading]](http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/1449/nohitter.jpg) sometimes not throwing yourself on the grenade as a tank wins games, but only if you buy infinity edge.

Kog used to have a really huge problem with that 450 range and no escape mechanism [bio-arcane lasting 6s with 20s cooldown.] Interesting to see how he is after this patch.

Being stuck in low elo hell like many other TL posters, first pick is bad. Other than the pick tank and your teammates pick 4 squishies occurence, there is also the "do not pick stun/silence" syndrome. And then you see a kat or nunu, and you are like "dodgeeeeeeeeeeee", but Riot says: "NO U."
Last pick is also bad. It is full of 4 squishies screaming "TANNNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKKKKKU". But at least you are relieved that you are not carrying a team of [uber] uberbads.

Can someone point me towards some kass info in this thread? It looks like everyone is learning kass and owning with him, I tried to play him but I just never felt like I did much... I would go like 5/2/20 but could never just destroy people like you are all explaining.
(Btw my 5 kills are usually early game through destroying some caster who tries to go shot for shot vs my passive and q, fun times)

I pretty much only play tanks, and when the first 4 took squishies and then yell at me to tank blah blah, I usually get half the urge to just take eve lol .
I mean, people need to stop expecting everyone else to do the dirty work in solo que..
the no stun/disables thing is also extremely bad.. I personally think 4 of the 5 need some kind of stun/snare/taunt/silence, really no questions about it..

Warwick ult, Garen Q, Udyr Bear Stance, Taric stun, Sion stun, Amumu bandage toss, Soraka silence, Eve stun, Fiddle silence, Blitz pull, Blitz silence, Blitz powerfist, Cho silence, Cho rupture, etc., etc., etc. I know that there are more than 2 silences/stuns. The issue I was addressing is that if he instantly taunts you again, you could never cast any spell on him that has less range than his taunt range. Btw I think I got re-taunted a few times lately, particularly if I cleansed out of it very quickly. Then again I also think that my feast damage completely vanished several times while the spell went on cooldown. Either I'm hallucinating or the game suddenly became very buggy. Oh and I think rupture doesn't actually cancel his ult, but somehow it always gets so messy that I am unable to check...
As for the Ashe build: Yes, I do think that Ghostblade > Bruta > Madreds is kinda inefficient. However in this particular game it was definitely the best choice because that Singed had a ton of HP. My Madreds was the only damage source that did more than tickle him. Aside from that, Madreds still is the best single dps item :p
I'm not so sure if I like Infinity Edge for that build, it really shines the most if you focus more on raw AD than APen because of the crit component which starts being efficient around 180-200 AD I think. Does Volley even crit? If not, that's another argument against it. It definitely wouldn't be a bad item, but I'm still looking for other items that might be better. Currently Bloodthirster is what I consider; getting a bit of healing into the mix should be nice.

Yea, but atleast for this week its fine, cause chogath is free. So i dont mind tanking, atleast i dont die, and i eat people

When you see galio approaching, get your disable skills ready: garen Q on => benefit
about ashe, i will start queue dodging if i see an ashe in my team from now on. Ashe is a very HARD champs to play. early on you have to control yourself in spaming arrow and last hitting. mid game you need to know where you are and what the FUCK are you doing which most ashe never do. after all of that, your creeps stat would better be around 180 at least after the 4th turrets on yourside is down or you just gona lose the game for sure. Going phantom is also a very bad choice for ashe. It give you no damage while attack speed make Q drain your mana even more. Summoner spells also decided who is a good ashe and those should be picked by team composition and lanning, not by what you like. Generally Teleport and ghost are good enough but again, depend on team composition. After main ashe for quite a while b4 season 1, i noticed a lots of bad players choose her even though they dont know how hard to play her well. btw, a good ashe never need mana regen until LATE LATE LATE game unless it is from runes

I told my team that I was going to ward their golem at the start and only one person came. BAM! FIRST BLOOD. BAM! Akali gets a DOUBLE KILL. My team started raging hardcore, so I used the ever-so-useful /ignore ally command.
We won anyway

Anyone have thoughts on what cheap runes/low level masteries would let me do golem with amumu at level one?

[pointless screenshot] hey remember the time you ignored me ingame and you fed really hard? and afterwards they (both our team and opposing team) all blamed your taric for single-handedly losing the game. and my nidalee was buff as hell but i simply couldn't carry you teleporting to auto-attack a tower (with tank items) while we tried to stop them from baroning. such a pro, thanks for throwing away our huge lead.

Question: What is a good Morgana item build? I've recently started to practice with her.
Skill order I usually go: Q, W, W, E, W, R, Q, Q, Q, Q, R, W, W, E, E, R, E, E
Items I usually start off with are: meki pendant, and 2x healthpotion

Does anyone know if:
1. Galio's Ult does damage if interrupted? I'm -pretty- sure it does damage when cancelled, but confirmation on that would also be nice.
2. If LW still affects Sivir Ricochet? APen affected it the last time I checked, but unsure about LW now, since Phreak made a post saying LW was for on-hit effects.

Read the small Essay which is linked in the first post of this thread in the Hero guides Spoiler
It helped me alot.
Seems like Kassadin is becoming quite popular, I really enjoy playing him =)
