For runes I have 6 blue and 6 yellow totaling 11mp/5 and 19ap at 18. I tried to go pretty general cause I like playing a diversity of heroes. My question is, what are good general runes just for playing around since I'm probably not going to be 30 for a long time. I have 5600pts banked. | ||

You can't do shit against Galio. Galio isn't a problem, although hes a high pick for sure since AoE CC rapes. Vlad isn't really that OP or anything, but I totally disagree with the champion concept. Heals in general are fairly broken in LoL early game because of the mana concept. If you take the DotA alternative, heroes like Enchant or Necro exhaust their mana in 2 heals, where in LoL, you can spam it indefinitely. The "Solo" metagame has gone from stuff like zoning X vs Annie to avoid a death spike to things like "Kat Spam! Nid Heal Spam! Spear Spam! Transfusion Spam!" which pretty much throws the skill ceiling out the window. Oh, and can someone explain to me why there are so many invulnerability spells in this game? I never understood the Zhonyas invulnerability. | ||

I have 5600pts banked. rune page 1 magic penetration flat, mana regen per level, cooldown reduction flat, hp flat quints rune page 2 armor penetration flat, mana regen per level, cooldown reduction flat, hp flat quints Very generic and mildly inexpensive. This gives you the most bang for your buck if you're going to be playing every hero with mana. A great way to spend less money on runes until you hit 30 and start figuring out who you like and who you don't like. | ||

I never understood the Zhonyas invulnerability. yea vlad defintiely isnt OP. but hes just such an annoying char and really stupidly designed. all his abilities are very blah. riot needs to desgin more abilities like galios wing thingy. the wind trail it leaves is just really interesting and well flavored. one char that i def think has great design, but is kinda hard to learn and isnt really good enough is poppy. i mean the charge into a wall for stun is a really cool concept. and her ult is hilarious. i watched HSGG maybe yesterday? ult some random tank and proceed to 1v5 taking down like 3 of them before he died. im surprised he didnt do it more. | ||

Poppy hard to learn? Triforce->boots, E->W->Q spam will get you 1v1 and 1v2 kills while roaming, you can E people past annoying walls to get away safely. E->R->W->Q spam in teamfights. Also R when tower diving, and that's about it. She is quite underrated right now mostly because her built-in bloodrazors demolishes tanks, but she definitely isn't hard to learn. | ||
