I kinda agree, but I think it's tough. Originally a lot of complaints were around the fact that the original heroes slotted into the hero archetypes too well for later heroes to trump them. Now a lot of the originals are passed-over in favor of hybrids. It wasn't that long ago that everyone talked about how Fiddle/Annie were too far ahead of every caster, and how Alistar was by far the best tank in the game. As with Smash's post in the LoL forums (and redtooth/Brees' complaints) I think in their fervor at making melee DPS viable they made tanks hit too hard without needing to lose survivability, which oddly enough made the true melee DPS heroes (Yi, Trynd, Olaf, etc.) feel even less effective. And at the same time they made ranged DPS largely unviable and made these tanks ridiculous. | ||
