EDIT so this doesn't disappear because of page change: Surprisingly I don't really mind 2v2 lanes since I haven't yet met a problematic lasthitter and tend to get all the farm anyway. If the lane combination is good it normally turns out quite fine. That being said though, what item and skillbuild should I go for as Olaf? I've had gigantic problems with his skillbuild, his E needs to be maxed early for max efficiency but so does his Q, his W speeds everything up as well. There's just so many choices. About his item build, I was thinking about something like 1-2 Warmogs, Atmas, Mallet and Starks and then some survivability, but I haven't been able to figure out a good item build either. I think Olaf should get at least one cooldown reduction item, but I really don't know which. | ||

I have been using Smite/Clairvoyance and a 1/18/11 mastery setup. the 11 includes extra buff duration and 1g/10sec. I have been using ArPen/mp5pl/CDRpl/CDR(and one arpen) since that's what I own at the moment. My jungle route consists of Blue -> Wolves -> Wraiths -> Red -> Golems -> bp for razors -> dragon. I can generally hit the dragon around 5:45 - 6:00 killing it before 6:30. I've been opening Cloth Armor x5hp but found I can get by without any health pots and only bring one just in case. Is this a decent jungling route/dragon time? What runes should I work on getting for him? I'm thinking ArPen/Armor/CDR/Health Thanks | ||

Garen's an early-mid carry, Amumu's way later. Amumu probably wins almost every game at like 35 minutes, Garen's point is to make the game unwinnable for the opponents by 20 minutes. | ||

if you want CDR so bad (no idea why tbh), I think you should probably just replace starks with a ghostblade. | ||

Ah the reason I want to get a CDR item is, CDR for E does wonders for your effective DPS, being able to Q every second while chasing or while in a stationary melee battle is amazing, and having W active most of the time is amazing. Sadly I'm not too sure what CDR items would synergize well with Olaf. So okay I have a general idea, then just runes and masteries. I'm thinking about apen, then dodge, magic resist per level, and hp quints or armor pen, but actually... Was also thinking of a apen, mres/lvl, cdr/lvl, cdr set O_o | ||

Q is the best jungling/chasing skill, W is good for damage and survivability, E is good for nuking... I need to play him more though. | ||

Q W Q W E R -> max E That way you'd have a decent slow and nice jungling with W and the early benefit of the E nuke... Hmmm =S So many options, Olaf must have the most varying item build in the game. Been working amazingly well. With the early domination you'll get a 10min sunfire, after which you can towerdive anything like a boss. The only game I've lost with this build around 1350-1400 ranked Elo I went something like 16-5-12 in. | ||

I played Xin in 8 of my last 10 games, here's how they went: Xin Zhao - 12-4, victory Xin Zhao - 5-1, victory Xin Zhao - 4-1, victory Xin Zhao - 8-1, victory Xin Zhao - 5-2, victory Xin Zhao - 24-6, victory Xin Zhao 12-2, victory I believe that I, as Xin, am going to be more successful going middle than the vast majority of solo queuers who could also go middle--hell, a surprising amount of the time my kills+assists add up to the total of my team's kills up to the 25 minute mark. If I'm playing in a premade with people I know are good and the other team has a hero that can mid somewhat competently (as Southlight I believe said, Xin destroys Ashe/TF and a few other heroes), I have no problem going a sidelane. | ||
