Should I be getting Normal wards or the vision ones that see stealth? What should I get in terms of item build for WW other than Bloodrazors, or is that entirely depending on the enemy champions/what not? When would be a good time in the game to start putting down wards?
I can't either.
On another note, can anyone tell me the top bans in LoL ranked play. I'm not there yet but I want to start learning champs that won't be banned every single game when I do get there.

Shaco Shen Heimer Soraka Taric for at least up to 1400 elo.

Xin Zhao Vladimir Ezreal you could add there and that's pretty much all I've seen

Always get normal wards unless you somehow have to defend/gank a lane vs a stealther and your laners didn't get the stealth wards.
Stealth vision wards are the way to go if you know your opponents shaco is keeping an eye on your jungle trying to gank you, but you can just get an oracle's and/or cast E preventively.
You can use stealth vision wards to deny your opponents' wards and securing their blue/red buff. Only do that if they have chars that absolutely need buffs such as heimer and carries without mallet.

Oh I know who he is. I just found it amusing they actually gave him thanks, especially since he works at another gaming studio

Is Ryze viable at higher ELOs, or with arranged teams?
|
I have played with cow quite a few times lately and he has been cool, but still this is TL, the vast majority of people on this website are probably more competitive then the average person, which will lead to some bm/raging, sure happened to me in my first TL inhouse which is why I stayed away from them for awhile.
Anyways, solo ranked queue is absolutely making me raged....I am like 1-6, I either get some noob feeder or someone goes afk all game/discing all game, or they die at the beginning and ragequit. So frustrating.
I also bought Singed recently and am having alot of fun. I just lack the runes I need for him I think, currently running MPen marks, Clarity seals/glyphs. I was reading about this AP/Hybrid build on leaguecraft when they advocate building 2 RoA's at the same time. You get 2 Catalysts, and build one into RoA, and if the other team has alot of AP/stun then you build it into a Banshees, otherwise it becomes a 2nd RoA.
Haven't gotten to test it enough but I feel like it doesnt make me tanky enough. Can anyone validate this build? I really liked Singed but unfortunantly I am gonna be stuck with this rune setup for awhile, is there anyway to make Singed work with this?
I remember on the VERY OLD bnet website, they had the battle reports up for Zileas vs Agent911, in the Starcraft Beta tournament if I remember right, back in 98. I feel so old for remembering this...

Ryze is semi-viable but he has a huge ceiling on how useful he is at the moment. They seem to be looking to buff him next patch though, so we'll see. The problem is he has no disable, so when compared to other top-tier nukers (Annie, Vlad, Kassadin, Anivia, etc.) he's really lacking. Couple this with his squishiness (the other nukers I mentioned tend to be hard to gank) and his weaknesses are very apparent.
The only runes I'd want on Singed are movement speed Quints, otherwise you can make do with random stuff on the others ones and he'd look mostly the same (except for MR runes fml).

Imo singed should have movespeed quints, mres/lvl seals and glyphs and whatever marks. He'll be soooo strong.
A good build that won't fail you is RoA, RoA, tank. Skip the second RoA if you feel like you need tankiness earlier but with the mres runes you really shouldn't. Also, just finish the first RoA asap so that it charges up early. With good farming and Singed's innate farming ability, you should be able to get 2 RoAs by like 22-24 minutes.

Being on the balance/design team for Warcraft 3, so it's possible he had input in the early ideas of SC2. I'm sure he has some strong ties with people at Blizzard still.

i hope they patch his ultimate, the way it dealt magic damage makes it almost useless in late game scenarios, unless u go magic penetration which is plain stupid...
i'm playing at constant 400+ ping since my current internet is pretty fucked up, garen is one of the few champs that can be played decently even at that horrible latency lol.

lol, just watched the season 1 trailer "again" make me wana come back to ryze. its true that when compare to morg, annie and other casters, Ryze is lack of disable skill but he is still a Heavy nuker/creep sweeper. Unlike morg/annie, if ryze got rape early on, there is still a small chance he farmed up and rape people late game.
but true, in high elo, annie still better.

Actually I've found his ulti to be amazing against some armor stacking Amumus and the like.

I like ryze cause he can just nuke really hard, and his CDs on his spells are pretty low, if they change his W skill to something like stun, then he'd be a lot better.

I don't have much experience with Ryze, but it seems like one of his main problems is that a lot of his damage comes from his passive CDR, requiring him to stay very close to the front lines for a prolonged period of time to get his damage off and preventing him from having large burst damage. Compare this to Annie (who is of comparable squishiness I'd say), who can just flash in, use her combo in half a second, and she's done her part for the team.
