Ashe doesnt need hp, thats what the beefcakes are supposed to do, stand in front and be a meatshield for ashe as she shoots gobs of health away from the enemies, she is dps, and catalyst honestly isnt good enough for her to delay bfsword items. edit: also ashe easily has the farm capacity and lanestaying power to do this, so thats not really an issue Idd, the build is pretty versatile too since the bfsword can be quickly turned into an uber fast cleaver if needed (ie vs vlad). Standard AP-> fast Rylai vlad gets owned easily after that. Also hopefully the LoL WCG games are going to be televised, thanks to clgaming streams I've only been watching 2 players...

I mean, I think the thing that pisses me off the most about it is that it's all ability damage, not just magic damage. it was basically making my old Panth hit like the new Panth whenever I was matched against him. No wonder I found that matchup such a nightmare. God, I still don't think I can think of any REAL Kassadin counters, he just seems so strong across the board .EDIT: ^ to the above post, you gotta be willing to switch on that =\. I mean, catalyst Ashe just tickles her opponents, you're really not going to be able to win vs. an attrition king like Vlad with that. Try Teemo, for some weird reason it works. Whenever I lane with Kass, Teemo scares the shit out of me because he can harass me with impunity. He's just faster and can nuke me before I can react with Q. And since Kassadin roams the map alot and usually has no ways to restore HP besides blue pilling, Teemo's shrooms are UNBELIEVABLY annoying. If Teemo is good, you suddenly start to fear all bushes (because a shroom often means a blue pill) and lose a lot of ganking power. Kat works nice as well, she can slowly chip at my HP while not putting herself to any danger and even if we both get low my riftwalking is easily countered by Shunpo. Kass can be countered (or at least played on par) in mid by several champs that simply never go mid otherwise. Stuff like Mundo, Xin Zhao or even Tryndamere all works well. Kass is good against long-range squishies that typically take mid, but aside from his Q, he has nothing to put against a strong melee hero that can heal himself. They will just ignore you and farm. Actually, I often "seem to lose" the harassment war with Kass. But since I swear by teleport usually we're both around 30% hp by the time I hit 6, I run a quick trip home and often get a kill. Imo, teleport is a goddamn musthave on Kass, when the enemies notice your tele, they will still not run away far enough for your R-E to miss them. Turns around lane fights, ganks and other shit. Also very effective in mid, as described above.

Don't run from Karthus when you go low vs him at mid and always carry a health pot. I've seen too many people make that mistake vs him. Either (like most Karthuses) he starts channeling right away and then hilarity ensues when you silence him and run away, or he backs to the protection of his tower and your pot coupled with your 15% damage reduction heals enough for you to survive his ult. Speaking of Morde, you can't do shit vs him solo. He is immune to your Q and will deny 100% of creeps. He cannot kill you (but you can't kill him even more), but be prepared to only get xp. It's not a hard counter, Morde isn't too scary if he freefarms in the first minutes, and Kass can still do well even with 0 CS, but in a sense, you will be losing the lane phase.

MRes/Level passes flat MRes at level 10, so it's sorta a tossup, but I prefer flats.

I'm not sure...I just farm with force pulse against morde. It's like, always up because morde spams skills so much.

It's only after he's backed once or twice and gotten massive regen that he starts ignoring me, but by that point I just concede mid (if no ganks inc) and go kill other crap. What do you do vs the standard "E your and your creeps' face and start attacking you" - start? You should lose quite a bit of hp, then when he skills W he'll just run up to your creeps, W, and E if you come close.

I rarely level up E > Q in a 1v1 lane these days.
