If I think I'm going to get 5-10 stacks is it worth it to get the item, or only get it when I'm sure of 15-20 by the end game? Ryze is my example champion. I have no problems getting 20 stacks in a good game, but some times its hard to get going and I can kinda tell early if that's going to happen. it depent, i usually get mejais when I'm 3-0 or something in the early of game...

It really depends on how the game is going, in general, if everything still laning phase-ish(usually is on your first trip back), and you are just fighting over buffs or dragon- yes get mejais+wards. If its an all out 5man push that will decide the game- get blasting wand+ a brilliance elixir

I don't mind losing so much as I do the supreme drop in fun. Trying to explain basic metagame stuff to shitty players is maddening. Game quality drops significantly and I all I find myself caring about is winning or losing. That stuff was so far back in my mind during the preseason and beta days, when I was pretty much guaranteed a very close game every time I solo queued. I really hate winning AND losing at this level. Edit: On a completely unrelated note, I just saw aznwiseguy's name on the ladder. I really hope you all get to experience a game with him. It's a treat. An absolute treat.

You should really only get them if you identify a feeder on the other Team and no protection/baiting around him.

In even games your enemys are not bad enough to feed these items to costeffectivness, for every kill you manage to inflict the opposition will go for a counterkill to not let you build stacks. You should really only get them if you identify a feeder on the other Team and no protection/baiting around him. I'm not a fan of the stacking items unless you are supremely confident in your team. They are a real danger in the mid range ELO levels because most players DO NOT know how to play with an advantage. The most common way I end up losing games is because of sloppy midgame play after a dominating lane performance from my team. Players buy stupid items and stand in mid like idiots wanting to end the game at level 10-14. They dive and give away their charges and kill streaks, letting the other team right back into the game.

You can KS whatever you want because you have 2 strong nukes at your disposal. You're usually the one killing people in ganks because you're the chaser. You're usually the only one surviving enemy ganks and failed teamfights. Unless you go super bad, you're pretty much guaranteed to have 7-10 stacks which is already more AP for it's gold than any other item gives.

And I usually don't play carries, since I have to pick some tank when everyone else wants to be the 'killer'. idk ive gotten to a point in normal games where most people are pretty competent. i mean my games still look nothing like high-elo games, but there arent too many retards, and we generally get pretty good games. the only exceptions i see is when people premade together and are bad, but get the elo bump. that frustrates me so much and is definitely something that MM fails at.

WW and Mal ulti will both be under the Suppression effect. I've seen WW ulti Cleansed before this patch. I haven't had a single Mal in any of my games, so no idea if Cleanse works or not. The tooltip might be updated ahead of time. Well that sucks... Not that I ever take cleanse but especially on mal(hazar?) it's definitely going to be annoying.

Once that annie gets 15 stacks or above, you're probably not going to be able to focus her down without suffering heavy casualties. Not exactly. It takes a lot effort to gain momentum, no Champion can easily pentakill, especially since empty Snowballitems are a burden. In games with competent Players on both sides even perfectly executed Teamfights end with one or two casulties on the winning Team. 5v5->5v0 Stomps are really the exception. And you can be shure that the other team WILL target your snowballer. It´s legimitate if your snowballer doesn´t die, is effective even with gimped stats since again, when you first buy a snowball item you wasted money you have to "earn back" with kills.

Sure I'm not racking in the kills non stop, but I get a *lot* of assists, and I hardly ever die. I'm bound to rack up those stacks by late game. Hell, I've even picked up a soulstealer on Morde. the one issue i see with getting it on kayle is that you REALLY want grb/nashor immediately. each one is just so cost effective for kayle. so i cant see taking out ~1200 for the mejai. and after getting those two items, usually the game is over or you buy some survival and then just ward+pots. i guess if you have some really good tanks you could get it. damnit i wish i could main kayle
