She's SO FUN to play when you just farm towards boots1, rageblade and nashor's tooth. After that it doesn't even matter, you wreck everyone.
she is great! no champ has come close to being as solid as she is for me. shes my most played by far
thats exactly my build as far as items. i rush nashors, get my boots then rage. then usually a defense item because by then ive gone something like 3-0-5 and have started to generate some hate. after, i end with lich blade and z's ring
what setup do you use? i currently use 9/0/12 (im lvl 21 atm) with AS marks, HPxlvl seals and CDRxlvl glyphs. it works great for me. thinking about making switching to MP marks

I'm SO BAD with twitch--it's my terran of LoL. I'm probably a solid D- Terran, but with Zerg and Toss I'm C+ (or I was before sc2 beta). The only reason I picked twitch is because I had 5 seconds to pick a hero and my masteries/summoner skills were set for him. That's a lame excuse. It was obvious you two were just screwing around - I should've called it right from the start when Pirate called mid. look, I'll get over this. It's just a game. But it still wasn't cool. Look, Pirate is an amazing mid. What's wrong with him calling mid? Even a mediocre pirate will outlevel them by at least 2 levels by lvl 10.
And the best twitch build I believe is definitely 2 avarice(should get by 5-7min if you can get a kill which you should), infinity edge, (executioner's calling), (brutalizer), phantom dancer, by this team your ulti already wrecks teams but then you can also get a bloodthirster and it's just ;S
Basic strategy is to join the fight late and kill them all. If they have oracles, stay out of the Oracle-user's range. Your spray and pray can still hit them if you're out of their vision range, just try to get it right. Mostly it's a good idea to have your team attack from a side and then you spray and pray from somewhere else, but not right on the opposite side of they can 5v1 you. And well, if you do it properly with that build they should all pretty much die to your 50% chance 400 dmg AoE crits after just an inf edge, which you should easily have by 25 minutes, normal time would be 20-21 mins if not superfed.
NEVER get malady, noob twitches are like huurrrrrrduuurrrrrrr spray and pray lifesteal! But it really is awful, and if at 20 minutes all you can do is 80 dmg a hit with spray and pray, you won't do anything for your team at all.

Almost. It shows the enemy that Gankplank has his Oranges ready. It´s subtile but if you play Gank for a bit it becomes obvious how much of a difference that can make. Especially if they go through with the "cleanse only cleans CC" change.
|
And yeah, scurvy is really important... if you're an Ashe vs a Pirate, the moment you see him heal with it, you can put some crazy pressure on and maybe even use your ultimate. The same for anyone with decent cc..

New Energy Runes in the Store
* Greater Seal of Meditation: +0.6 Energy regen/5 sec * Greater Seal of Lucidity: +1.05 Energy regen/5 sec at level 18 * Greater Glyph of Acumen: +2 Energy * Greater Glyph of Sapience: +2.64 Energy at level 18 * Greater Quintessence of Meditation: +1.5 Energy regen/5 sec
Rofl I almost forgot, these are so completely useless it's hilarious. +1.5 energy regen/5sec, when the basic amount is 10 per second? So with full en/5 seals and glyphs, you get a bonus...14 energy regen/5, when you normally regen like 50/5. That's just hilariously awful, compared to say how large of an effect the mp/5 runes make compared to your base regen. These runes aren't worth it at all, just a waste.
Oh, and max energy is useless too because it takes like 10 seconds to go from 0 energy to full again.

Looks like a 3-man premade mass-ganking from them o_O

The max energy runes would've been useful if they gave an increase that actually meant you can sneak out an extra skill or two, 23ish extra energy is just lol...
I suppose those guys were a premade, but it doesn't make me less pissed at the team I drew... I don't even think they spoke English.
Oh, and Heimer would push a side lane while the other people pushed another, usually what would happen is, I go to kill Heimer, our team rushes forward and dies instead of fighting at the tower, then die, and we lose it.

my only problem with kayle is that alot of the time my team gets really gungho and gets themselves killed and then bitches about me not saving them. i mean i can only save one person and its only a save if you gtfo since it doesnt last a minute...

It's hilarious when I'm farming... let's say for example the left lane, and their entire team attacks on the right lane. I'm taking down a tower and start pushing towards the next one, my team engages their team outside our tower and they all die, then they all blame me and say something like "you don't know teamplay" like wtf, that's the most basic strategy and the best defense against a 5-man push... -_- I can't wait until I get out of this Elo, or maybe the matchmaking is just broken.
EDIT: I think I'll try different masteries and builds and an AP build for Tryndamere starting tomorrow, and after like 40-50 games I guess I can write a guide about him. It's a travesty there's NOT A SINGLE decent guide anywhere on the internet. The best-rated guides on the interwebs tell you to build inf edge -> phantom dancer -_- sigh.
I've tried the Tryndamere AP build a few times in practice games but I'm not sure if it'd work. The theory about it is, spinning slash has 1:1 AP ratio, with low hp's crit bonus you should be able to reduce its cooldown pretty significantly. Then after you get Lich bane, it'd proc off the spin, then off your slow, and finally after your bloodlust consume, and by that time you should already have your next spin up. His teamfight presence should mainly come from the spin's AoE damage. Oh right, and he could heal from about 40% hp to full with only one bloodlust stack.
I should test this stuff a lot more =P

Suggested build is Rageblade, (Mejai's), Lich Bane, Zhonyas, Void Staff/Rylai's, suggested starting item is Amplifying Tome or Doran's Shield =P Good luck~

I dislike twitch. He's completely all-or-nothing. If he aces a team once, the game is pretty much over as he'll be so ridiculously fed after that, he'll be impossible to deal with the subsequent teamfight.
And then there's the flip side. He gets flattened faster than a pancake if he or his team screws up even a bit in formation.
|
First game was a solo queue with a bunch of people who I'm pretty sure have never played LoL before, so I don't think it counts. Will try again...

And then there's the flip side. He gets flattened faster than a pancake if he or his team screws up even a bit in formation. I don't think so. A good twitch knows when he needs to do what he has to, and Twitch destroys almost anyone if he catches them 1v1. And even if he gets fed, one exhaust or the standard insta-focus when he comes out can shut him down. He's not as team-relying as you imply, and a good Twitch can wreck havoc even with a worse than average team. I think that Twitch is mostly fine, except incredibly op against noobs who don't know what wards or oracles elixirs are.
BTW this is amazing: " FINKILL'S DODGE TIER LIST
This is MY opinion solely and does not reflect my team's or any other high level player opinion on high level play. It's for you to read and discuss for your enjoyment and nothing else.
This is my dodge list according to the upcomming season 1 and current Matchmaking Normal Mode Play. I've put all the players I feel are not viable on SR and should be dodged in competitive play. List goes from left to right, best to worst.
(Tier 1) Before champions are selected - Heko, Honver, GenericallyNamed, Pleiads, Fgyghu, Burbs, Aznwiseguy, Opengambit
(Tier 2) If you feel like waiting 15 minutes - Hybris, A Lonely Squid, Patyrn, ManyReason
(Tier 3) If you feel like waiting 6 minutes - TMTYH, Marias, Cronohl, Kilouu, Satashi, Loveinabottle, Araragi
(Tier 4) Champion selected based (if they pick a champion other than their main) - Tictacs, Saintvicious, Maknoon, Tekkengod, Zirun
Tier 1 - These players will either feed in almost every game they play, have awful map awareness, and not know proper positioning. You can never count on them to do a proper play or perform to even an average level of play. Or they will AFK after they feed or leave the game. In certain cases they will just trash talk to no end.
Tier 2 - They aren't going to be useless in every game, about 20% of the games they might do well but for the most part they will end up doing awful in teamfights but know how to lane.
Tier 3 - This tier is more champion selection based if you know that they won't feed on a certain champion or they play something extremly overpowered like Kayle then stay. Since, they can just be told to Ult on a stronger player and carry like a trist and then afk the fight and get carried.
Tier 4 - They will pretty much fail on anything other than their main champions from my experience and can only play one type of hero. If they select anything other than their main then you should dodge. Because the game will only end in frustration
Feel free to ask questions about my list and I will do my best to reason why X player is in X tier. I also encourage you to convince me I am wrong and move a player up or down a tier accordingly. I will post the changes if or when I make them in edits as games continue. "

9/21/0 cleanse/heal Runes: Magic Resist Per Level Red and Blues, MP/5 seals, Quint Health I decided rushing frozen heart isn't a good idea. Too squishy and it takes a while to finish. So...
Mana Manipulator (helps feed the selfish mana whore Kass) First trip back, Giant's belt Boot 1, Soul Shroud Glacial Shroud , Merc Treads Frozen Heart
Game should be over If not, maybe banshees, GA, whatever
Reasoning: Defense Masteries lets me not die now that I dont get Doran's ring and rush straight for shroud. Cleanse/Heal helps with that as well. Mana Manipulator to start as early Soraka is mana hungry. Should have enough first trip back for Giant's belt, boot 1 if doing well.
Soul Shroud+Frozen Heart gives me HP, Armor, 40% CD reduction, 25% less attack speed aura for enemies, 15% CD to allies.
Merc Treads, Magic Resist Per Levels, Soraka's passive to cover MR. I've mentioned before that my Soraka build is radically different from yours, I'll try to explain my reasoning:
I don't get CD reduction items, so I go for more CD glyphs / masteries. In particular, flat CD glyphs and a 9/0/21 mastery build, for ~15% CD reduction from the get go. I go for Magic pen. marks and run cleanse/ignite, levelling heal / infuse and giving priority to infuse; if I'm running with Kass, the burst I can provide with Ignite + Infuse + one autoattack can make a difference between getting a kill or not.
With no mana problems from a high level infuse, I buy boots + 1 health pot (for levels 1-2 where healing 200 HP can still be taxing) and a sight ward. I find that a sight ward + boots are by far the most effective investments in survivability I can make at level 1, allowing me to survive ganks for a long time in my lane. It also lets me harass with Infuse (whenever I don't need it for mana regen) much better, and catch up to a fleeing enemy to use Ignite.
I go for AP because even though Soraka's Wish has been nerfed, what she does in teamfights is:
a. Heal, and b. Silence
I also add a little burst if I happen to ignite whoever I silence, but since most of what I'll do is heal, having 150 AP gives my Astral Blessing and Wish roughly 50% more burst healing, which can definitely make the difference between saving an ally or not.
For items, I finish Mercury Treads then go for Mejai's and Leviathan. I have to play very careful to not die, and I usually die very little, getting enough assists to get to 12 charges on average in a game (sometimes 20, sometimes just 5). Since I don't get a lot of gold on Soraka, I'd rather go for cheap items that can give me a lot of benefit in those two; after that, I'll go for Rylai's or GA depending on whether my team already has a Frozen Mallet / Rylay's to permasnare a fleeing opponent or not. Glacial Shroud/Frozen Heart could also work instead of Rylai's / GA now that I think about it.
I'm at about 200 wins 150 losses, which aren't very impressive stats compared to yours, but my Soraka winrate is at over 70% with about a hundred games played, and I really like my build

tank twitch is where its at.
Because little do you know twitch has a 2nd passive. when he pops out of stealth, the entire opposing team MUST target him!

that's why you should rush malady as twitch so you can lifesteal 5 people at once while they focus you.
