Lux is a weaker version of morgana almost spell for spell. but her fucking lazzzzzzzzzerrrrrrrrrrr is awesome.
Her only bonus over Morg is she doesn't get in the middle of battles so can build pure AP/mejais.

so i heard hotshotgg stopped playing because he reached 2000 elo (and is sick of the game in general)?

Is there like any reason to level Lux's shield? It feels like it can't even properly hold one full nuke and you're basically wasting your mana for practically nothing
|
I think you just get 1 point in it to get assists for your mejai and then that's it. The only way I see lux doing good is by relying entirely on mejai for AP, try to minimize farm/kills (as a result not gimp your teammates that can actually do something GOOD with the money), and just get some CDR/wards.
As weak as lux is, if you can get to level 16 with a well-charged mejai and your team isn't behind, then you probably won the game.

Yes, I up it in last ^^ I do

every time i play lux, it feels like i have a bit of control of the game during the early laning phase, but very quickly it becomes a roller coaster ride and totally dependent on what my teammates are doing, which is not a way i like to play

I can deal with Shake having this discussion with me, but at least he understands the point of the revive.
Wow you must feel so embarrassed talking to such a lowly person such as me! Who doesn't understand the point of revive!
Get over yourself. You really think it's a hard to understand point? You bring revive, get 400 extra HP for 2 minutes, and zone someone out for a couple of minutes. I understand that.
I just don't think it's worth taking revive at all. If you really have such an issue or must feel superior in having a discussion with me than you have some issues.

All of that said, who cares play Sivir she's amazing now.
3150 and 6300 heroes cost the same amount of riot points though.

no offense but i am willing to bet real life money that you just made this up, it literally makes no sense at all. i mean it's not like riot pays their staff per champion/mechanic created... the coders are always coding, the designers are always designing... it's not "more expensive" to design something new rofl. it's not like since leblanc's skills are recycled the designers just took 2 weeks off so riot didn't have to pay them so they can charge less. you must be crazy in the brain son!

What was so unique about MF though? And Sona? Their abilities don't look like completely new mechanics either.

That's, uh, not the point of revive. The point of revive is to teamfight, die, revive, and ult back into the teamfight.

As for MF, Double Up priority mechanics? No clue.

errr...
implementing something with an example of something similar right there is easier than implementing something brand new...
that being said, I don't really think that has much to do with their pricing. I think it has a lot more to do with what they think will sell at a given point in time.

Not in the discussion that they were having early on about Pantheon's early game lane dominance.
Sona was 3150.

Oh yeah, my bad. I kind of lost track of their prices. But yeah, I thought double up might be a unique mechanic but it doesn't look that much different from something like Malefic visions or that bouncing mace attack by Mord.

So far I've noticed 3 changes that weren't in the patch notes. Blue buff golem spawns at 1:53. Shows your top rating under your profile. Practice games are now called custom games.

If you're taking revive and not suiciding to tower you're wasting it unless you expect to get completely outplayed in the first 10 minutes. Is it even worth giving up an entire summoner slot just to do that ONCE at level 1? And not being able to do it again for the next 9 minutes? It only lasts 2 minutes. Anyone who is smart isn't going to die to that while panth loses a summoner spell for 9 minutes just to get a couple of extra minion wave kills. Not being able to do it again for the next 9 minutes? You don't even have ult for about 6 of those 9, and it's not for the first 9 minutes anyway. You shouldn't be dying as panth in lane, you are probably one of the strongest laners. The extra 400 hp is HUGE in zoning them. You can be super aggressive with no fear because you started at 1k hp when they have 500-600. If you really think you're taking revive for ANYTHING but the midgame/lategame revive-ult-back-in or backdoor I just don't know what to say. You just use it early for one extra use because honestly what does pantheon die to in the first 9 minutes? I can deal with Shake having this discussion with me, but at least he understands the point of the revive.

Double Up has champion priority though, and it's the first ability that I can think of that does (Sona came after). IIRC Malefic Visions and Mace of Spades don't have Champ priority.

Didn't Heimer's Missiles once have champ priority?

They once didn't even hit creeps at all iirc.
