It's not his stealth or his shrooms that you need to counter, it's his insane fucking dps with malady and the fact that he can shroom directly on top of you to prevent escape after blinding dart if you try to take him 1v1 coupled with the fact that he can't be ganked and you can't chase him into brush ever because he can instashroom it and you eat a huge slow + dot + blinding dart + poison from his auto-attack w/ malady damage/MR reduction followed by shroom #2 and at the very least he's going to do a ton of damage to you before you can really even target him without a ward in the brush, not to mention he can camoflague and move quick to escape basically anything if he's running flash/ghost.

Saying "oracles counters teemo" makes me feel like you really haven't seen him played well post-patch imo. That's like "oracles counters twitch" or "thornmail counters yi". No item "counters" a champion and I wish people would stop saying that.

First of all, I never said oracles counters Teemo, just his stealth abilities. It wasn't an argument, just a statement. If my buying oracles had stopped him from steamrolling us that game, would I have posted about it?
Second, yes you're also right, I am not by any means a high ELO player, my normal game premade consists of me, one other decent player, and 3 horrible ones. I have not seen Teemo at 1900 ELO ranked. Should I go ahead and uninstall the game right now?

Edit: Some of the talk in here made me actually want to try to get into a TL premade for once and ditch my friends for a decent game...it seemed like fun and a lot of people in here are pretty supportive. If I'm going to be laughed off TL though I won't bother.

But yeah, idle in LiquidParty (caps on L and P) and pretty much any time of the day you can get in on a 5 man unranked with various skill levels. It's how all of us got to where we are. I don't think I'm anywhere near the top 10 TL players on league but once in a while they'll play with me and I'll get to play at a level that's higher than what I play at getting carried by them (and sometimes carrying). Other times it's me, one or two level 30s and a 12 and 15, and even though we lose once in a while and rage once in a while we generally have a good time while crushing and introducing the things which we consider to be "basics" to the newer players.

Probably one of the best things that you can do for your game at a low level is to get in with a 5 man TL premade when one is forming. Just tell them you're learning but would like a spot, unless they really, really need a win (losers) or are trying to play 5 man nosebleed elo to queue against milkfat and team they'll usually be willing to take you.

Again sorry if I came off abraisively, I usually don't think about people's feelings when I'm spewing words into a post. Also, you're right, you didn't say oracles counters teemo, that was my fault.
