Suppression doesn't stop abilities; only summoner spells. Gangplank can Remove Scurrrvy out of Malz's ult. Alistar can Unstoppable Will out. etc. Mundo's Burning Agony doesn't reduce the duration, but that's expected because Suppression says "ignores duration-reducing effects". Quicksilver Sash also removes Suppressing abilities, though this may be more common knowledge.

Yeah I only recently found out about GP's RS > Suppress, it was the most mind-blowing discovery.

I'm going to have to try this on Urgot, but supposedly with 40% CD reduction you can get 4 Acid Hunter shots in with one Corrosive Charge. (1.2s CD vs 5s uptime) Aside from Brutalizer which only offers 10%, Frozen Heart could work on him if he's being built tanky with a Manamune. If I opt not to use Frozen heart I think one champ would have to be using Soul Shroud as well as me having to grab blues.

i almost always get frozen heart, simply because A) no1 else hardly ever gets it, and B) it has amazing synergy with manamune. My core item build is manamune+banshee's veil + frozenheart. Getting that 40% cdr is great and all, but i would only invest my blue runes to try and get it. Certainly not my quints.

nvm not the place to say this

It definitely works. I did it however by getting all the CDR from masteries + blue runes, so sub in an elixir or shroud and you can poke 4 times instead of three. Yay! Edit: How big is the aura on FH? since you're Urgot and all, being in the middle of a teamfight isn't exactly where you want to be...

Actually I think the way Barbsq plays Urgot late game he does stay in the middle and uses his ult to prevent enemies from getting to his carries. Plus, by late game his item build allows him to be bulky as hell.

I haven't tried this at all, but I feel like that build wouldn't give enough hp to supplement Urgot's crappy base. Do you use flat hp quints? (actually, what's your rune/mastery setup in general?) Or is Banshee + Redpot enough?
On 40% CDR: Frozen Brain 25%, Brutalizer/Bluepot/SV 10%, Utility masteries 6%.
Mid or top solo?

After 2 fail games of trying to go AP sivir, I ended up redeeming myself!

apen red/mp5pl yellows/??? blues (cant remember, either cdr or mres/lvl, but i think its mres)/apen quints. The apen is just flat out sick for urgot's early game harass. As far as survivability goes, i feel great with veil + heart, its awesome for that mid-to-lategame timing, theres a fairly substantial window where i feel pretty un-killable and still output a ton of dmg. Not the near-immortal levels of singed/garen, but still pretty hard to bring down. After my core items, its really a tossup as to what i want afterwards. If im a primary source of dmg (which i was in the last game i played) i ended up going cleaver+lwhisper to finish off the build and played kinda defensively. If I have a stacked ranged carry on my team spanking ppl, i gear myself towards tanking, debuffing and peeling ppl from my carry, so randuins and fon become pretty sweet items.
i typically duo lane urgot, but the past few ive solo'd either because there wasn't any1 else who really could or because of extenuating circumstances (i.e. i wanted a 1v1 vs gtrsrs top, which i am rather proud to say i won, tho it was very close :D). The only problem i have in duos is when im up against double heals. I can usually manage against single heals since i can usually outharass the heals, esp when i have a hard cc in my lane (me and shoret run urgot + eve lanes to great effect in troll games, even against 'tough' lane comps like taric + x phys carry). The way i play urgot in lane usually amounts to me patiently chipping away at their hp for a while then suddenly fucking them over for the last quarter, which is a strategy pretty much ruined by double heal comps.
Imo, however, i think it benefits alot to avoid double heal comps simply because, in my experience, urgot is so good at shutting down ranged carries. With just like 2 combos, i can easily put the hurt on ranged carries like trist, ashe, mf and the like and just zone them, which is far more beneficial to the team imo than just sticking yourself in a duo just kus you still do well there.
edit: also, fuck caffeine, why am i still awake at this unholy hour

Had someone call my Swain OP tonight, mission complete, on to the next champ.

(Sarcasm detector here, although I do have 100% confidence in my farming abilities, the rest of my game can certainly use some work). So youre kinda famous? do you make youtube videos? do you have your own clan with legions of salivating fanboys chasing after you? Pssh, Uta needs to upload more videos so everyone can see their Sona Kayle lane. It's #1 pro. Can i safely assume you dont get the reference? >_> I do but I decided to put that. Seriously, that lane is stupid. Anyways, apparently Nidalee wasn't the only champion that got her AD buffed. I heard Corki did and I'm sure there are a lot more, this probably due to the apen nerf? I hope so, it ook solo mid as Nidalee once and couldnt last hit anything cause ive never delt with someone whos base damage is so fucking low Play Ashe and open with DShield, don't go deep into offensive masteries. 49 damage and crappy animation? Hell yeah!
I actually fail at lasthitting with many other champs because it's too easy.

I've finally realized Just how much I'm improving from TL Premades! I solo Q'ed, then realized that I'm a lot better than the other lv 20's because of the teaching and experience I've been getting from you guys :D

How would you guys build Kayle? 9/0/21? What runes? For items I've been going doran's ring -> new malady -> boots -> rageblade -> nashor's -> whatever is needed (usually GA or something)

I'm still terrified of TL queues...I dragged some guy Chips or something into a premade with 3 of my friends...I'm guessing the fact that he was at about 1550 rating meant that we faced a harder team than usual cause we got absolutely rocked. First game in a long time I went negative on Amumu. Do people really learn from these premades? 'Cause if so I really should do them more often...don't want stuff like that to happen again.

Lol chrispysc? He's one of the better players in the channel. Honestly you won't learn anything from 1 person, it's better to join a 4 man of TL with you as the fifth.

Rageblade always your first major item. Always. Then Zerker (90% of the time) or Mercury Treads. (for 5CC teams)
Second item choices include: Malady (if your team has more physical damage already), Ghostblade (if your team has more magical damage already), Stark's (if your team has lots of people who will benefit), Nashor's (never got this, don't know). I like Ghostblade personally.
Reds - arp/aspd Yellows - mp5/lvl Blues - mp5/lvl / flat mr Quints - arp/ms
3/6/21 is nice. 9/0/21 works too.
