Udyr can gank just fine on anyone that's anywhere past the river or close to the river brush.
I feel like Warwick actually jungles pretty slow compared to many other champions nowadays. He jungles very safely, yes, but as far as taking creeps I feel like before razors he's awfully slow and that's when you'll be level 4 with both buffs and a cloth armor + 1 hp potion.

I was looking at udyr and pantheon, but am not sure if those runes are ideal. I don't mind not trying them out beforehand because I am interested in grabbing quite a few heroes to play so that when i start ranked again i won't ever be banned/have my only main hero taken ^_^
pantheon works well with arpen marks and quints and mp5/lvl seals and glyphs, so you're all set on runes for him.
Arpen applies to judgement, making marks and possibly quints a good idea on Garen (i prefer MS quints, but w/e really). I see some brutalizer on Garen, but I think you're better off just going 100% tank right from the get go, though I will admit that ghostblade is a slick way to add some oomph later by giving you an extra ghost for latching onto their carry.

Is doran's worth it on garen or should I always be opening boots + pots? I've been toying with both and it doesn't seem to make much of a difference except I get my mercs faster and can rush sunfires that much earlier.

boots + ward + pot always for me. I just arrive on lane with 398 movespeed and spin on them a lot, lol.

Basically all the physical DPS champs (and some more) should work with your runes.
You should be able to get Tristana for free (via Facebook, ugh), APen/APen/whatever/whatever should do well on her.
Ashe works decently with APen/APen/MP5L/whatever. 450 IP.
Ezreal and MF should fit as well, though MF is 6300 and dunno about Ez, I think 6300 as well?

Doran's is safer vs lanes that are very aggressive or have strong harass.
I guess you could be safe with boots, but the biggest reason people go boots is because of the ward. I guess boots rock on Garen because his spin gets a bonus.

Hmm, the reason he's fast is because he can do jungle routes that no one else can do, i.e. the greedy smite route (1/8/21)
- Twin golem (smite right away) - level 2
- skip wraiths
- kill large wolf, no time to cleanup the small ones
- do golem (smite comes up right at the end) - level 3
- Work your way back up to lizard
- Kill lizard with smite back up again - level 4
So basically, you get to use your smite at optimal time every time on a 58 second cooldown and finish both buffs within ~3 minutes of starting jungling.
Plus I do long sword instead of cloth because uhh..he doesn't need cloth armor and longsword kills stuff mildly faster.

This is correct, the base-line level for each is 250 500 1000 2000 etc, but if you have been spamming threads like this one, you get them later.
A well played sona is an amazing lane partner, especially as nasus, I had +100 on SS at lvl 12 because of how easy laning is with her around.
This then allowed me to do 2 games in a row without dieing.
For teamfights, if the other team doesn't have any good initiators Sona keeps a team topped off through all the poking going on, letting you push forward.
I don't see her being effective at all in 3v3 though, aura force multiply is tuned for affecting 5 not 3...

iirc, you're supposed to do the double passive proc build... (lesse... 1 flat damage quint, 2 flat AP quints, 21/0/9 masteries, smite/ignite, open doran's blade + 1 HP pot, use ignite right away on a small golem so that it triggers your 2nd passive off of ignite mastery) I think that's how you're supposed to start... small gols with mark of the assassin -> wraiths with crescent slash -> wolves and then I dunno... it's been awhile since I tried it/seen a jungle akali.
