Religion and spies were a great addition to civ5gak. I, hoping they could add this too.
1.) calamity stikes (typhoon, tornado, hail, sandstorm, earthquakes; for terrain output and bonus) 2.) health (outbreak of diseases; can be used to kill citizens) 3.) government (election of leaders; more like coup to halt the day/week's empire output) 4.) terrorist (homegrown barbarian)
EDIT: to: suffi: perhaps the mongols got boost from ruins. ruins are double-edged.

I think they should have Partisans spawn when an enemy city is captured.

Exactly my problem right now.

They should rid the UU or implement some point system to getaccess to universal UU's or be able to adopt one for completing a policy tree.
TLDR: I want an American Foreign Legion.

City States just get in my way, Cannon and Rifle is the only culture/faith I need.

Alright I managed to beat a Deity game on Pangaea. Science victory 273 turns with Ethiopia. I will probably never play Deity ever again - it's just not very fun.

American Foreign Legion does not have the promotion that ignores terrain cost.

Anyone encountered a great person buying thru faith bug? I unlocked the order, freedom and commerce policy. Before, I can purchase them but after buying the 1500 gold of merchant, all the other faith buying units were gone. It was a disaster. I nearly accumulated 5k worth of faith and now rendered useless. They only appeared after my main city was converted and I can purchase again with these prices.
4000 artist 2000 merchant 1000 engineer
Although the prices were the same I wondered if it were a bug or not.

not 100% sure, but I believe you can only purchase units and buildings with faith if a city follows your original religion

Order and Freedom AT THE SAME TIME? Why?????
When you activate Order after Freedom, you lose your Freedom bonuses.
Also, the faith cost of GPs increases with each GP you buy. The first one is always 1000, then 1500, 2500, 4000, 6000, 8500, and so on. This has NOTHING to do with religion.

my religion was shinto. I went on regular basis purchasing artists and prophets. converting here and there. i converted the whole civ which owned the christianity religion. if im not mistaken, that triggered the bug. it took me awhile before i saw that i cant purchase great persons and faith units. they were gone, visibly not seen. it should be disabled rather be invisible if not enough faith points are accumulated. i was frustrated. luckily that same civ send me a prophet and converted me into his her religion (christianity). at first i was at rage because i didn't saw that sneaking in my capital. my beliefs were essential to my strategy and almost waging war with them. to my surprise, i saw the great person and faith units again in the purchasing section.

It should be locked. I dont know but I didnt received any notice about anarchy. I unlocked the order after i completed the patronage. These were the policies i made.
liberty (complete) > piety (complete) > commerce (1 only) > freedom (complete) > patronage (complete) and order
the artist costs was too high so i opted for engineer to build the un building.. i badly need engineer that time because i went for globalization i dont see it making in time. all the other civs are starting to wage war against me.

on what turns do you usually win cultural victory based on 1 or cities only? went on this game as GOKU (kamehameha wave) and originally opted for cultural turned diplomacy AGAIN. i ended the game on turn 431. won by diplomacy but i almost completed my policies with making my own 8 cities and 1 puppet capital. i asked because when i went another game with capital only build, it almost went the same as taking 8 cities. therefore, not agreeing into common belief that less cities makes culture faster.
turn 422

turn 431 the game ends with almost 1 policy to go to build utopia.

i dont know with you guys but i find it having a hard time winning culturally. the way i see it these happends to be the easiest path to victory.
1.) diplomacy 2.) science 3.) cultural 4.) domination 5.) time (surprising!!!

For some reason, it took me 1 year to realize that CivV thread existed in TL. Good game. Better if only it took less time to finish a game...Domination takes something like 10hours...
