That's the reason why they removed crit from champions and on level up. If you want to crit, you have to spend gold or runes on it, so no more random 2% crits in the FB fight that ends up winning/losing it for you.

If they should remove anything it's fucking dodge.

Yeah I know thats why they removed it (although most casters will still have some crit if you go 9/0/21 and don't use exhaust), I'm just saying it would be better if it was removed completely. Randomness isn't just a problem in FB fights, I've seen my gangplank crit 3 times in a row in lane with just one avarice blade and runes (something like 30% crit chance at the time).

Dodge is also dumb but it can at least be countered by SotD

Annie's such a good character. I keep trying different heroes, end up lose a bunch, go back to annie and proceed to get a full stack of mejais and one shot the other teams carry.

Redtooth is almost famous for his hate of Udyr in 3v3's however. Udyr, and Udyr alone, made the poor soul quit TT.

lol yay e-fame. seriously i've tried to save up for udyr + the necessary runes with plans on returning to TT and abusing but always splurge on other crap (most recently it was nidalee+runes and experimental kat runes that ended up failing hard).

but honestly though. if you REALLY want to get into "high elo" then i think soloque tryharding games on TT is the best and quickest way (that's how i did it). you don't have to carry as hard and the dominant heroes absolutely rape on the map. the TT player community is much much smaller so you'll start bumping into namedrops a lot earlier, too. it's sort of a difficult transition from full-time TT to SR but still doable. i have noticed that many of the people i used to play with on TT are moving over to SR though. maybe they also realized that udyr is broken.

What kind of runes would Udyr need, and why?

Marks/red: I guess attack speed, because that benefits both his physical and phoenix dps. If not that, Magic pen/Armor pen?
Seals/yellow: Dodge, I reckon, if only to make Card masters cry and break their keyboards in frustration.
Glyphs/blue: Magic resist/CDR?
Quints: Can't go wrong with flat HP I guess.

Well if you were there for most of the team fights instead of gathering the golem buff for a sivir, that might be helpful.

Just tired of you announcing how farmed you are over vent and see you farming while our team is trying to defend mid against a try-hard team of janna and locket udyr.

I can't help but think most TF's are doing it wrong early game. Most TF's I see level up pick a card ASAP, with stacked deck second and completely ignore wild cards. Of course they're going to have a terrible early game. Gold card is crap until you get good attack speed because it does almost no extra damage, so you're just "wasting" your stun since even with a 2 second stun, you get maybe 2 weak autoattack in. Stacked deck and wild card together actually gives you some burst. ONE level of pick a card is good enough for the RED card, which acts as a 2.5second AoE slow even at level 1.

Plus all that dodge just screws over gold card even more. It`s a terrible ability to rely on early. Late game it`s beastly because people die in less than 2 seconds.

Level 2 wild card and red card lets you easily kill the wraith camp during mid-solo phase. This adds up to quite a lot.

omfg malphite is BITCHIN. def my fav tank/initiator so far. you can rly do alot in the game. i mean thats y i normally hate playing tanks because i like to be DOING stuff. but even if im not doing a boatload of dmg, malph just DOES stuff. ult is ridic. slows are great for being in the middle of the fight and for slowing carries. and seismic does some decent dmg too. omg sweetness.

oh and for the first time i actually carried a team to win(i normally dont lik to play carries. hate the pressure). played as ashe and died lik 3 times in laning phase, decided to play defensive and just won. brutalizer is so kickass. low CD ECA is SICK.

okay enough ranting. and disclaimer, im a massive noob, never played dota games before 2weeks. so take my rant with a grain of salt.

I like the new Executioner's calling a lot. It works like all the other new items, you just hit whatever button its assigned to and click on the target. I've been only playing GP lately so if they have a healer on their team I will always get it, since it's a semi-decent item for any crit heavy character anyway.

Not that broken actually. It costs a lot and comes with a lot of unnecessary life leech and spell vamp, stats that for the most part I wouldn`t pay for. The slowing nuke is cool but... rylais. I like building the bilgewater for teemo and other characters that have trouble getting away if jumped on, however. I almost always go madreds and bilgewater on teemo now, and roam the map like roadrunner with his insane speed boost. If I get caught, in their jungle, which shouldn`t happen after I put enough mushrooms down, I can usually slow them and speed myself away.
