My thoughts on this patch:
Removing crit as a base stat just makes me wish they'd just remove crits from the game entirely. The literally add nothing but random-based frustration to gameplay.
Malzahar looks powerful as fuck, but I think that the spotlight video may have swayed people's opinions too much. I'm sure he'll be slightly overpowered like all new heroes for the first week to get Riot some $$, but then get a nerf in time for his free week. I do, however, really like the concept of the hero and am really hoping he's not 6300 ip so I can buy him this lifetime.
Janna's bullshit AoE on the tornado finally got nerfed, thank god. So many times I've clearly dodged it but nope, got hit anyways.
Pointless changes to last whisper and haunting guise. Those items were fine, if not underused, so I don't see the point in nerfing them.
The gunblade is going to be stupidly overpowered on hybrid champs like Jax, Nid and Akali, 3 champs who are already extremely powerful.
I like how they're making more active items but I think it's going a bit too far. Sure in HoN there are tons of active items, but in HoN you can't farm gold nearly as fast as in LoL. What this might lead to is 2-3 active items on one hero which might be gamebreaking as a lot of them have a slow. There's enough CC in this game as is; I don't need Jax being able to leap to me, stun me and slow me.
Cleanse nerf is good. It was too powerful being on a 100 sec cd with the talent.
Right-clicking an allied portrait will no longer move you in the direction of your ally -- best change since the dawn of time.
Overall good patch.

I beg to differ, I got it on any champ that I wanted to auto-attack with.

I'll be playing a whole lot of teemo after this patch. The new bilgewater cutlass along with exhaust will make him very annoying to deal with,especially when he pop out in the mushroom infested jungle with 40% attack speed bonus, killing you off with bloodrazor.
My build will probably be something like, vampiric scepter + health pot, boots, bilgewater, madreds to take full control of jungles, and then build bloodrazor and tank or AD item after that. Sounds so fun regardless of its viablity.

He's going to be able to roam-gank SO hard with the extra 200 damage nuke that also acts as a slow. He warps to a lane, stun, autoattack, ignite, slow + nuke, Gets a kill, warps back to buy a green or red pot, ride the ridiculous momentum to victory by scoring a kill or break a tower everytime his ult is up. It just seems like anyone without cleanse IS screwed.

Usually "tech's not ready" means theyre going to do it but the coding isnt as good as it needs to be to be released.

that new hextech gunblade looks freakin sweet for akali(especially the active). ive been playing her all week since shes particularly good for my low-mid elo. you can burst down the noobs overextending themselves all day.
oh and what are your builds for AP yi? it sounds really funny but i cant fathom a build that works. does most of your damage come from Q?

If anyone has bought Malhazar, please tell me if he can jungle golem at level 1 with his pet (by spamming 5 spells in your base), preferably with a doran's ring or boots.
You could also test his jungling abilities in general, because null zone sounds beastly for jungling.

well its doable i did it with smite and call of the void barely. And without smite and null zone i somehow made it but i was low hp again. maybe someone with more jungle experience does it better. i got 2hp quints and dodge seals so luck could be involved.

Just theorizing here, but what if the TF leveled up wild card and PAC instead of stacked deck? It should be harder to zone out a TF with wild card. That's what I'd be aiming for if my goal were farm up cutlass/gunblade ASAP for burst ganking. Wild card is pretty good if you have other burst damage to back it up (in this case, ignite and gunblade).

I'm OK with forcing TF to build stupidly and use all his mana just to try to get some creep kills, lol. I mean, he still doesn't have enough burst to make me even remotely worried and since I open boots vs. him anyway, I'm not terribly worried about eating WC harass to the point where I'd have to start worrying about his burst (since it's one of the easier moves to play dodgeball with). I still don't think he'd have any semblance of lane control and I think the end result is he'd be 100-200 gold ahead of where he'd be otherwise and he'd have his points in the wrong skill. but w/e, it's just theorycrafting anyway.
