I think I'm goingto be scared shitless of mid-TF after the new patch thanks to bilgewater cutlass. He's going to be able to roam-gank SO hard with the extra 200 damage nuke that also acts as a slow. He warps to a lane, stun, autoattack, ignite, slow + nuke, Gets a kill, warps back to buy a green or red pot, ride the ridiculous momentum to victory by scoring a kill or break a tower everytime his ult is up. It just seems like anyone without cleanse IS screwed.
I feel it's GOING to happen. I'm not that worried about it. I'll just keep him 2 levels underleveled and about -20 cs from me. Just theorizing here, but what if the TF leveled up wild card and PAC instead of stacked deck? It should be harder to zone out a TF with wild card. That's what I'd be aiming for if my goal were farm up cutlass/gunblade ASAP for burst ganking. Wild card is pretty good if you have other burst damage to back it up (in this case, ignite and gunblade). rofl wildcard TF. do you know how much damage wildcard doesn't do? that would actually decrease your zoning presence since its so ignorable. just park behind creeps, let him throw cards at you, ignore.

Well, what I usually do against a really hard lane is get level 1 wild card, for long-range last hitting or when you mess up your auto-attack. Kind of like what ezreal does with his mystic shot. It's not optimal, but neither is letting that soraka zone you out completely on the sidelane, or get stomped by kat in mid with a 0 creepscore.

goddamn, I really wanna play right now... stupid job that I need to pay stupid bills keeping me from playing the stupid vidjo games I wanna play.

fuck the haunting guise change... now i have to make a new build.

does that new ap item stack? if multiple champions have it
|
I can't imagine it does. They've been really careful about aura stacking for obvious reasons.

My first and probably only.. holy crap Malzahar is so good. (I'm not 30 and thus still playing low ELO, but still)
|
pentakills are super rare across all ELOs, grats!
I think Malzahar looks absurd. quadra nuke, 2 of which are disables... ummmm.... right..... seems fair....

Grats! I've only managed to get one quadra with Yi before cleanse and highlander nerf.
|
I don't know if I even have a triple kill.
|
oh comeon, you definitely have a triple :p
I don't think I have a quadra, though I've had a couple near misses where it's like, a janna nado or morgana puddle or some shit like that KSing a Heartseeker that should've killed 4.

On the other hand, Cleanse should counter him really hard, since it'll remove the DoT from Malefic Visions, and both the damage and disable from Nether Grasp- if he was stunning you on top of a Null Zone, cleanse will can also let you move away and avoid damage from that, too. If you also take Ignite like Phreak did in the champion spotlight... :p
So yeah, my impression so far is that Cleanse >> Malzahar. Then again, it's all theory- still haven't fought against him.

I only have a triple, as I never play SR. By the way, I have now switched over to TT completely, does anyone here only play TT or hate it?
|
I play TT often enough, because Mundo and Cho'Gath both work quite well there, but I play SR slightly more often.
Redtooth is almost famous for his hate of Udyr in 3v3's however. Udyr, and Udyr alone, made the poor soul quit TT.
Also, congratulations on the Pentakill, SBelmont.
Regarding Cleanse vs Malhazar, a lot of nasty cleansworthy stuff can be on a 5 man team besides Malhazar's spells. Like, Children of the Grave, all sorts of stuns, ignites, and so on. My point is, though cleanse hard counters him, you can't count on always having it when he unleashes his barrage on you.
|
I hate TT, but it's mostly unfounded. I played it a little, it was fun for a day and then I never felt as happy playing TT as SR, so I stopped.
and yea... it's not like cleanse single handedly counters anyone... cause as long as you understand how to stagger your cleansible effects, you won't get caught losing a Q, ult and ignite for one summoner spell... it's mostly just about knowing who's packing cleanse and paying attention to when they use it.

That's the reason why they removed crit from champions and on level up. If you want to crit, you have to spend gold or runes on it, so no more random 2% crits in the FB fight that ends up winning/losing it for you.
If they should remove anything it's fucking dodge.

I killed Malzahars about 50 times today with Annie. Fun times.

Mal is a really good mid. He can also lane with a partner with a good stun/snare like Morgana to set up ganks with Null Zone.
