Me and my older brother have been playing since it came out, so we are both pretty good IMO, and while he plays faster characters like Capt. Falcon and Fox as his main, our winrate against each other is probably a solid 50%

I wish I could waveland that well. Ganondorf and C. Falcon are the most fun to play, but I am finding it harder and harder to find melee players though. I just moved out to western Massachusetts, and people only play Brawl. edit: proof

Grobyc if you don't go to tournies I doubt that you play similarly to one of the best Ganons >.> also Kage isn't even known for his wavelanding... actually until recently, he was probably more known for his lack of wavelanding/wavedashing. If you want to see some nice wavelanding, check out Renth:

They SUCK. The shoulder buttons are huge and unresponsive, the B/A/X/Y buttons stick, the controller gets ridiculously huge on the top, etc. Gawd, looking into fixing my old one. Anyone have any experience fixing/customizing a controller?

Main: Sheik, Falco Active: Since 3rd grade, but I'm still horrible, bwahaha Location: Temecula, CA (San Diego County) I'm getting back into it, but only for fun. I'm still getting used to short hopping with Sheik and learning shines and pillars with Falco.

Sheik's jump is 2 frames faster, and SHFFLing with her is very different from other characters for some reason. Also, their playstyles (generally) are different. In the words of Armada (or close to them), stick with one character and get good at him/her before you start secondaries. Everybody can agree that if you're trying to play competitively that you need to pick one character to start for most of your matchups. But seeing as how most people play for fun and competitions; I wouldn't expect anybody to not play other characters they enjoy and raise their skill with them. Ironically enough, the first characters I started to play competitively with were also Falco and Sheik.
