Since a Rain fanclub has not yet been created, I figured I can start one (also it'd be nice to let Rain know he has fans ). Also I need to find need a better picture >.>. Anyway I liked Rain ever since GSL 3 (where he faced against MC and showed his good manners during the interview). Now here's a fanclub for Rain!
To Rain - Rain if you're reading this and happen to have an account, please post here Rain . It'll be really appreciated .
(If I missed anyone, feel free to PM me [though give me a week or so to update the thread]. Also remember to post about signing up specifically so I know for sure you want to be added. Thanks everyone .)

You're mistaken. ST_Rainbow ladders as BlackCitadel.
Yep, there is Rain and there is Rainbow (this is a fanclub Rain).
Hmm and I noticed Rainbow does not have a fanclub currently . Rainbow too had good manners during his finals (Rainbow's mom even said she liked Fruitdealer but wants Rainbow to win as far as I remembered).
Sign me up please. Annoys me how many people just write him off as a skilless cheeser and refuse to accept that he's a strong player. Makes me want to support him more
I at first did not like Rain that much, but after he got knocked into Code A then made it back into Code S (same season) he earned my respect, you can tell he really is trying to improve as a player and go places, he seems to have drive and I respect that.
Sign me up, I think people focus too much on his matches against nestea during GSL3 the fact that he apologised for cheesing shows he has a really nice attitude and he's beaten quite a few strong players so he's not bad. I hope he goes big with fnatic in the foreign tourneys.

In short, sign me up!
Yep. When other terrans all-in, it kinda annoys me, but I actually like watching his technical, aggressive play sign me up.
Rain's major victims at MLG so far: qxc, Oz, Socke Slush, Ret, MMA. And what impressed me most is how good his micro actually is. Definitely outshining other players.

Rain isn't underrated in the least. Why he might be considered 'underrated' however, is because forum warriors like yourself disparaged Rain during his infamous gsl run and made him out to be a shitty player when the reality is that Rain simply plays to win. The disgusting thing here is the 180 degree flipflopping of the forum warrior mentality towards him, and the sheer amount of asskissing people are doing towards him now that his play somewhat conforms to the "noble-macrogame" mold that seems ever so pervasive among your type.

Sign me up by the way!
No idea what you're talking about. I've always believed in playing to win, and I've supported Rain for a while now when people were giving him a hard time about being bad. Maybe way back in GSL Open S3 I gave him a hard time, but I have no memory of doing that, so if I did, I apologize, though my giving him a hard time is more likely due to being a Nestea fan and less due to the reasons you're listing. I find it hard to believe that you actually follow my posts enough to make such a detailed assessment about me, so maybe you should stop being so blindly judgmental. It looks bad.

He deserved it back when he played vs MC in GSL finals. Back then all he could do was marine scv all in and when he tried to macro he got owned play a bronzie. Now he is just as good as everyone else in macro games and never scv marine all ins anymore. So he deserves respect now due to his massive improvement in play.

one small edit for my opinion.
absolutely incredible game. my friend is a huge fan of sky terran games and he's sleeping now, so I plan on gloating as much as I possibly can.
You could very well be right. It's definitely the most epic in just bringing something that I've never, ever seen before. Mass Ravens? Hunter Seeker Missiles everywhere? Yep.
I'm very impressed to see how far Rain has come. I remember watching him winning by cheese and being the next bitbybit. He's really come along way and is doing extremely well in MLG. Kudos Rain!!
I gained major respect for this guy with that series vs. Boxer. All though Game 1 was a bit stale.. It still showed how great of a decision maker and player this guy is.
Added GIF (credit goes to muffley for the GIF. Thanks ) of a highlighted event from Boxer vs Rain game 1.
Apparently Rain said he practiced 18(!?) hours for MLG? Is this true? Is there a source (If so I'll put it on the first post)?
If so, I think it's good. If anyone is a fan and hasn't signed up, sign up . We should continue to support Rain and maybe one day he'll find this thread and it may give him extra morale and motivation for more great games .
It's about time this guy got a fanclub. Say what you want about his playstyle, but the dude never dropped out of code S until he willingly withdrew. It worked moderately well for him, and it seems he's still improving.
Sign me up! I am a huge MC fan, and I respect him for making some good games vs. him! Also, his run at MLG was one of the coolest things I've seen thus far in SC2 Cinderella stories, GOGO RAIN!
Rain, BAWS. As someone said on the first page, I've been defending the guy from hate since I joined as well. Really satisfying to see all the hating morons get proven wrong by his sick play.
Rain fighting! Keep up the good play and good manners!
Much respect for this guy, add me in. He was the first (I think?) Korean to join a foreign team, and he's showing great play lately. I hope to see him win titles.
I'm a fan. I loved that epic, long maxed out battle in Anaheim. And the nukes in Raleigh?!?! Duh. His playing style is interesting and fun. That's the best part.
Rain do you think Ares is going to be in GSL soon? I always see him beating many GSL players and he is always in GM too. He must be a strong player right?
