I'm really happy to announce that the Korean pro-gamer Seo Yong "Rain" Park has joined FnaticMSI today. We're all really excited to have such a great player with us and think it will be great to display his talent at international events and competitions.
Look forward to a lot more coverage and fun stuff from the team in the coming months, and of course interaction with Rain!
Here is Rain's statement:
“I am extremely excited and content upon joining team Fnatic and interacting with the current team members because I have always possessed great interest in the international Starcraft 2 community. Fnatic is a team with strong players in each race- for instance Fenix for Terran, Sen for Zerg, and TT1 for Protoss. I think it will be a good experience for me to have such stellar players as teammates and consider myself lucky to receive such an opportunity. Also, I will always put as much effort as possible so that I can perform well to not let both my fans and Fnatic’s fans disappointed.”

I saw this coming! Great pickup by both parties! Good luck~

Best of luck to fnatic and their new recruit.

Well there goes everyone's hopes of REIGNRain. Cool for Fnatic though.
this is gettin CRAZYYYY... love the korean recognition of the foreign scene
Wow, grats to both parties, hope it works out well.
Awesome!
I've never really enjoyed his playstyle, but I do find it amazing that he had been able to retain such a high level of play (code S) using that style, even when people knew it was coming. He had refined it quite a bit.
Screw the haters, results are results, I look forward to seeing more of this guy.

Well that solves that mystery.
Oh baby. The merging is complete.
Woah, grats Xeris! that's mega-cool.
Didn't expect him joining Fnatic, but its cool to see Koreans on non-Korean teams.
Will he be flying out to MLGs and such then? If not, I still don't see a reason to forfeit Code S.
Congrats to both parties though!
So why did he drop out of Code S anyway, when he could have continued on? I mean the next big event is MLG and that's only towards the end of GSL July.
EDIT: Ah, just read the thing. So he's moving the US eh. Wonder what for though. Fnatic don't have a practise house up yet do they? (besides the Catz and Drewbie house in Florida?)

So can we expect Rain to play for F.United with Naniwa and Fenix in the GSTL?
Awesome to see some Koreans trickle into the international teams!
